lol yeah, incredible response by the TE. Such an athletic play and impressive control

That wasn't a hail mary situation though. It was a 3rd down play, where a field goal on 4th ties it, and a very questionable decision that worked because of a great play by our receiver and a piss poor one by Woolen. Glad it worked out… definitely not something we want to see again. I don't think it will be praised in the film room.

I think Brock had a good game but def nor his best. I do agree that it wasn't a great play by Brock, just incredible one by the TE.

we won't know but I'd love to know if those bone head decisions by Brock were him or guys that usually don't play we're not executing plays right.

my take away is that we have a ton to improve but can win when we shoot oursekves in the foot multiple times. Huge W but a long way to improve - which most teams are in the same situation, so nothing unusual

The sad thing is that the 50/50 ball to Tonges that won the game has taken all of the focus off the fact that he was 6/6 on that final drive when we needed him to be clutch.

Supposedly he was also pressured on 57.9% of his dropbacks, the highest of his career.

There are those great separation numbers
The first int I sort of understood after Greg Olsen breakdown. CMC was supposed to go out on route & occupy the lb. He had to pickup blitz/fell down. Just a bang bang play. It looked bad but purdy expected certain things.

The 2nd int was terrible, idk

These are the type of things that makes me think he has a good game l. He only had a couple bad throws, which isn't an excuse, but he kept putting us in scoring position.

also that's a top nfl defense - at the end of the season people will look back and realize that, IMO

Pretty mixed effort from Brock today. Love that he got it done but he really needs to control his hero ball moments.

He's not good enough to make some of these tight throws unless his mechanics are on point. The 2nd interception was something we can't see again. Terrible decision to throw that and it showed.

Glad we got the W but we can't have the turnovers on stuff like that. Some things you can't control but damn…

Learn from it and clean it up Brock. Outside of those bad decisions I thought he played very well from the accuracy perspective even though Seattle wasn't making it easy for him.
I agree, spot on take here. Mixed bag from Purdy today. Some good and some really bad throws, even up to the last throw of the game, but great play by #88 to make the catch. He really needs to dial down the hero ball and play smarter.

Much like Minnesota last year

That means Purdy would be reading that LB though, or it would be a predetermined throw.

You'd think he'd see the LB dropping deeper in Jennings window and look for the under route (which wasn't there). You'd want to kill that play rather than force the throw anyway. Plus it was a balloon… just hung up there.

Hopefully one of the film guys will break it down because I'd be curious to see.

I'm assuming his play today will be an outlier and he will learn from it. If this is every week - I'll be concerned.

id also need to watch the film to see what his pressure was like. I agree he wasn't sharp at times but I don't think it's a cause for concern unless every week is like this.

It appeared he was looking right to hold the OTHER secondary player and came back left after clearing, not realizing the lb got depth.

I don't know, I guess only Brock does!
