Lol. Maybe so.

Also weird game by the Oline - thought their run blocking was terrible and their pass blocking was half awesome and half terrible.

I don't disagree that the OL was having trouble. However, that Seattle front 7 is still below the radar for many people. Over the last half of the season last year, they were one of the very best in the league. I would be willing to bet they will make a lot of OLs look bad this year. Those cats are dawgs.

agree.

The oline came up clutch as hell on that game winning drive when Brock hit Ricky for 40. The team as a whole came up huge when it mattered most, last year we fall apart and for damn sure Sorensen's d gives up a quick game winning drive

good points. Leonard Williams was a load today, and he lined up all over the place. dude was one of the best DT's last year, had 11 sacks. Reed was tough today as well. That was a tough challenge for or offense.

I'm not picking on you 4putt, but I want to challenge the idea that Tonges bailed him out.

I can think of a ton of times when Rodgers would throw up a Hail Mary to one of his big guys, or Brady throw one up for Moss, or any number of other situations, and the QB got credit for putting the ball up in the air for his guy to make a play on it. All of those throws looked like 50/50 balls when they left the QB's hand but they got the result. It's the reason you throw it in the direction of your guy who is 4" taller and 40 pounds heavier than the opponent. Let's give Purdy a little credit for taking the chance to win the game.

I am a card carrying Purdy homer....but the MO on Purdy has always been that he is going to attack. He is not a safe QB, he will risk the ball.

We all wish he was throwing to Jerry Rice and John Taylor in the end zone, but we will have to settle for Tonges playing like a big dude and taking the ball from a small dude.

Bingo!

It was a risky throw and he's lucky Jake bailed him out with an aggressive play on the ball.

Meh, some just can't take criticism. That was not a great game by Brock and he's lucky Tonges bailed him out which what very well could've been another int. Now I'll take the win and it's far too early to panic but let's not act like he's free from criticisms.

Yeah this is why I'm not here arguing it. I hate to be all negative after a win. This game very well could've been entirely different if we didn't continuously shoot ourselves in the foot. Brock kept the play alive and gave his guy a shot. I still maintain that he as well as a lot of other players left too much out on the field and has a lot to clean up, but I refuse to hound on it. Regardless, as others have pointed out, we lost these games last year. Tough to be too negative after a win against Seattle.

Self bump, but to Purdys credit there was absolutely no one open on that play. It was very well defended.
Pretty mixed effort from Brock today. Love that he got it done but he really needs to control his hero ball moments.

He's not good enough to make some of these tight throws unless his mechanics are on point. The 2nd interception was something we can't see again. Terrible decision to throw that and it showed.

Glad we got the W but we can't have the turnovers on stuff like that. Some things you can't control but damn…

Learn from it and clean it up Brock. Outside of those bad decisions I thought he played very well from the accuracy perspective even though Seattle wasn't making it easy for him.

Agree 100%
2nd picnic was inexcusable. The first pick I will give him a pass because you have to imagine he was pissed off as hell being down 7-10 after literally playing a perfect game up to that point.

It's got to be frustrating as hell watching your team squander and lose due to coaching mistakes when your playing out of your mind.

He just pushes it more and more later in the game if the games not in hand. I can't really fault him for that.

Throwing in to triple coverage was bad though.

We're really hurting for some viable WRs right now.

Yep ESPN and NFL network plus others would be like omg he extended the play and threw it right where it needed to be.

The sad thing is that the 50/50 ball to Tonges that won the game has taken all of the focus off the fact that he was 6/6 on that final drive when we needed him to be clutch.

Supposedly he was also pressured on 57.9% of his dropbacks, the highest of his career.
