I still think there are a lot of reasons for choosing an area to live in other than what the state income tax rate is. Many 49ers making less than what Brock is getting live in the Bay Area. Even if he paid the full 13.3% he would still be making way more than he ever dreamed of. When guys earn that much money they rarely actually pay the full tax rate. They have several tax write offs. One of the benefits of being wealthy.

Nothing wrong with living in Nashville. It looks like a nice place. Personally I could never stand the humidity but apparently it doesn't bother Brock or his wife.

One final thing Catch: You were figuring sales and property taxes. The other gentleman was talking about income taxes.
So, two different things. That's the discrepancy.

Most offenses are better when everything is on schedule and you have a good play caller, for sure.

The ability to extend and make stuff happen when the play breaks down or is just a poor play call is a plus. Thats a massive difference between what JG offered and what Brock can do.

his arm is his arm…It will never be a great trait of his…his arm was no different in 23 vs 24.

Great video! Talk about a QB that knows how to improvise & be a playmaker. He has the ability to escape pressure and either run or scan the field to complete passes.

Definitely was a difference. Someone posted clips here a while back on some of the same throws he made compared to 23 and there was less zip on his passes. Saw it clear as day as well. This shouldn't be an argument. He looked like Shaun Hill at times.

Shaun hill haven't heard that name in a min.

honestly, I'll disagree with that. I didn't see some massive difference in his arm. Another yr removed from his surgery and not some huge altering arm injury to impact his arm. Wasn't clear as day imo

from my POV he was trying to do to much. Pressing things and in the process his mechanics and processing weren't as clean. Maybe now that he's paid he isn't gonna have to overthink stuff and just get back to playing

Statistically, the arm is great. He has been one of the best deep ball passers since he entered the NFL.

Throwing deep is not an arm strength issue…especially if guys are open. Tight window throws and pass plays like out routes show velocity and arm strength. Overall not his jam, which is fine just be proficient elsewhere.
when purdy scrambles/buys time to throw, it's almost always a positive play, same when he runs

We talking about arm strength, not his 30-50 yard throwing ability. There's no QB in the NFL that doesn't have the arm strength to throw it down field. Timing and accuracy matters, which he has, but that has little to do with arm strength.
