Just saw George in an interview, he said Brock is moving into town (Nashville) he said Brock bought a house with some of that big money, and he and Brock will be able to work out together on a regular basis. Glad to have Brock has a Nashvillian and Tennessean.

Interesting. I thought he would take permanent residence in Bay Area. Los Altos Hills etc..

Lower taxes outside of CA. I'm not surprised at all.

Agree, not too surprised and CA taxes, oof. Brock is a cowboy some, Nashville makes sense. Can wear his s**t kickers and Kohl's there, no problem lol
Can't avoid the CA income taxes when working for SF, but you can certainly avoid the property taxes if you live elsewhere half the year (and keep your CA residence as a smaller footprint than your non-CA one).
I only thought Bay Area as he is very business and could spend a lot of time at the facility. Even in off season.

Lots of good lakes in the area also loaded with small mouth and large mouth bass or Crappie or catfish or walleye just to name a few.

Nashville is the plastic cowboy hat of American cities...

Pro athletes don't even have to live in the city where their team plays to get in proper training and practice with the team. Brock could buy about 5 more houses around the country and nobody gives a s**t. I think Warner and Juice are practically the only guys who live full-time in that South Bay area. Maybe DMo got a place around there and I think BA. That's about it.

Taxes aren't that much lower in Nashville. Their combined state and county taxes amount tp 9.75% That's about 4% lower than CA. but I doubt that was the reason he decided to settle there. With the money he'll be making he can afford taxes anywhere.

The issue of taxes is brought up a lot but I don't know a lot of people that pick where they will live based on taxes. It's usually based on job opportunities, lifestyle, weather and sometimes how crowded it is. I moved from California because of the traffic and high overall cost of living. Not the taxes. Usually if there are no income tax or sales tax the revenue is made up in some other form. You can't get roads, schools and infrastructure for free.
