In the Buffalo game specifically it felt like he held off on throwing a bunch of throws he normally throws without hesitation. Obviously not the best example given the weather factor and how our guys were slipping but i definitely saw his arm not looking the same as it was earlier in the season and a lot of folks felt there was going to be an announcement after the season that he'd need some work done.

I'm certainly glad that didn't happen and looking ahead to next year and beyond.

His arm is his arm, it's never been a great tangible trait that he has. I disagree that some "injury" last yr lead to poor throws overall. His mechanics weren't as consistent as 2023, he tried to play hero ball a little too much, didn't see the field as well etc etc. also it's not like he played awful last yr.

I don't remember anyone talking about a possible surgery for him at the end of the season

I saw several people talking about that possibility on twitter at the time.

Lots of posts showing what his arm looked like earlier in the season and then after the injury.

It was definitely talked about. Regardless it's in the past and hopefully not something we have to discuss moving forward in Brock's career.

Yeah I'm not buying any of that. IMO that comes off as an excuse for some bad plays through out the year. There's plenty of reasons for the "regression" if you even want to call it that, which we've all discussed.

Yup the season is done with, hopefully he improves and the team stays healthy.
I need me some more damn Brock Purdy highlights.

I think it's just something that can wear down as the season goes on because it's not great to begin with.

I think this "slight injury" and "mechanics" stuff is all related. When you're not as strong as you were game 1 and game 2, not only does the velocity fall off, but you can begin trying to over-compensate.

That was is a 51+ yard toss (distance-wise) but this was only his second week starting after taking over due to injury.

That play is from 2023 Week 14 matchup, fyi.

Lol
Kittle calling Purdy the "Kohl's King" is hilarious. I hope that sticks.

Lol I know Brock looks like an average Joe but idk how people aren't mocking 90% of these basketball and football players that are dressing like clowns at a met gala and somehow people think it's cool? Lol

its funny to me how Brock is mocked for dressing like a normal plain person and others are celebrated for dressing like it's Halloween everyday.

it's funny cause st the time these guys dress dumb, it's "fashion" but then you look at it a year later and it looks like Justin Timberlake in 1999 wearing all denim. Cracks me up. Lol
I dunno. To me he had a good zip to start the season then his balls started reminding me of Shaun Hill the last 6-7 games. I can't remember the exact play but he had a ball/td he threw off of his back foot that was spectacular in first few weeks then it seemed to changed. I have no definitive proof but I remember specifically thinking some passes were Shaun Hill'esque and not normal Brock. Redundant conversation at this point but my .02.

Just another reminder when you blur things and people don't know that a bottom 7th round QB playing suddenly perception changes.

Could not agree more, Tankle!
It's kinda refreshing that this guy doesn't feel the need to dress up in whatever name brands with all kinds of drip, like he is trying to prove something. He doesn't need to prove anything, he is Brock Purdy. . His statements are on the field:). Who gives a s**t what this guy's threads are..good character >>>> than all of that.

Lol ppl really think that it's Rodgers? Like two seconds in, I can tell it is BP lol. The gait alone is enough, then the point before the throw is the clincher. Plus, BP often contracts his core when he throws. Lol would love to see a Rodgers version..gunna be some ints, him getting sacked and holding his head on the ground..in a fetal position.
