No shade to Brock, but didn't Jimmy have a high EPA here as well? It's one stat that I don't really understand how it get's calculated?

It means Brock is a product of Shanahans system and those teams don't feel Brock is a player that you can plug and play on any system such as a guy like mahomes/Allen/Lamar/etc

Yeah thats BS too. I think Brock can start in any "system" honestly. He may not be as good with running the ball like Lamar and Allen but the other parts he'd be just fine at. Neither one of those systems has even produced an AFC championship so what does that even say?

Brock is a good QB and some in the national media can't quantify it. He doesn't run fast, he doesnt have a huge arm and he hasnt won a Super Bowl so he must be a system QB. The other guys not named Mahomes can run and throw the ball hard and far so they must be good QBs. Nevermind they havent won anything either. They can play in any system!!! But they can't win either...

I think all QBs need the right system to play well. Kyle's scheme in particular is favorable to QBs.

What people are talking about with guys like Mahomes/lamar/Allen is when the system or scheme breaks down, they can make something happen.

I mean I don't think the "best" QBs always win the Super Bowl either.

I realize that I'm venturing down your rabbit hole here of needless filler, so let's try this:

What signings do you think will help Brock the most? Do you see Aiyuk coming back to full speed? Or does he not need to do so (in your estimation) for Brock and this offense to bounce back from last year?
