But it's not a five-year extension that kicks in come 2026. His remaining contract, with $5.346 million in salary for 2025, gets torn up and replaced with a six-year, $279.346 million contract. That's a per-year average from signing of $45.057 million.

Damn good deal when you look at it like this

Its about 53M a year extension but none the less I'm very happy with it seems fair for both sides

No it's 53 a year plus his last rookie year

That's what I was saying

My bad
If he wins it all, do they make a movie? Can't wait for the 30 for 30 or Netflix doc once it's all said and done when he calls it career

41 for 72 for 502 yards, 3 TDs, 7 INTs, 52.9 passer rating

(Purdy ranks 151st out of 160 QBs with 50+ attempts in that scenario since 2000)

This is just so f**king stupid. Brock is great in most statistical categories but here you are finding that one sta he isn't good in. I bet Joe Montana, Patrick Mahomes, Tom Brady were pretty bad in a couple stats too if you look hard enough.

Isn't that a pretty important stat? The QBS you named are all incredibly clutch when it matters..

What's Shanahan's record in the same scenario?
I like it. Now, can we please get back to winning?

He does have two 4th quarter comebacks in the playoffs to be fair

What's winning? 9-7? That's about what I see at best tbh
Also, I need me a Purdy jersey.

It's already a movie

A touch pessimistic with our schedule

I don't like wearing qb jerseys for some reason, but if he's wins #6 I want to get a custom #262 and IRRELEVANT

I don't see 9-7 happening. I give it about a 0% chance. I can assure you, our record will not end the season at 9-7.

It's not everything though. I've seen this stat before and looked it up, Peyton Manning and Drew Brees had even worse stats than that. I'd say they did pretty good for themselves huh?

Plus Brock is just coming off his rookie contract. He's looked a lot better than a lot of good to great QBs early on. Hopefully he continues to develop by getting smarter.
