Well there is a difference between guaranteed money that the player gets immediately and the salary cap hit.

$160M could be guaranted in the signing bonus and spread out over the 6 years.

Could have multiple bonus options in the first couple years that gives him the money immediately and we spread it out.
lots of ways that could be done and have a small salary cap hit for the next few years (small relative to $53M average).

I may be wrong on what the structure is but my guess is low cap hits first couple year with multiple option bonuses and a fat signing bonus.

Yup. I have no idea. I'm sure we'll find out shortly.

Some projections are showing approx $8.5M cap hits this year.

lol, i heard ppl say he's getting 364m. do you know how price is right works?
Cracks me up cause it you go back to the first couple days of free agency, so many were freaking out and thought we were tanking. Lol just like it's a long season, it's a long off season.

i like how dominos have fallen our way, now we just need to execute

Let's Go!!!
Super Bowl at Levi's this year…
I'm just happy it's done. Btw, he deserves it.
Brock is already one of the best under dog stories in sports, now he just needs to finish it off by winning the Super Bowl in SF.

now that would be the greatest story ever. LETS DO IT COACH! LETS DO IT!

Yes he does. I imagine some of it is make up money for winning playoff games on a low salary.

I like how things have fallen as well but I still see us as a playoff team not contenders unless Ayuik, McCaffrey return to form and Brown flips a Jimmy Ward

I'm guessing it's similar to hurts deal - relatively low cap hits the first 4 years and multiple bonus options. We will see!

Based on Rap's reporting, Purdy's cash flow is going to be a 55M average across the first 3 years. The contract is front-loaded. The practical guarantees break the contract in half. 165M/3 is practically guaranteed, followed by 105M/3 of which 16M is practically guaranteed.

Hurts' splits are 158.3M/4 practically guaranteed, followed by 103M/2 of which 11M is practically guaranteed. As I talked about previously, the Eagles couldn't give Hurts a huge signing bonus because of their short-term cap issues, so they backloaded the final three years with 51.5M in compensation in each year.

I'm expecting Purdy's 2025 cap hit to be around 7-15M. It all depends on the size of the signing bonus. Given a huge signing bonus isn't being touted in the top line reporting, the number should be closer to 9M.
