I've been saying for a long time now that I don't think Brock is going to take as much as he can. I love where the deal fell, he gets paid big time and the team gets a little more room and control for 6 years. $181M guaranteed
it's about as good a deal as we could hope for that is a win/win, IMO.
I don't think he left money on the table. That's his worth man.

Um, 81 posts in 2 years? Clearly your opinion has great value. But that is not an insane amount. If you can spare the time, check out comparative qb costs.

That's about what I was expecting. I've been saying the <$50M dreams weren't going to happen. On the flip side Josh Allen's deal kinda cooled the market a tiny bit.

What we think he is worth and what he could of forced (or attempted) are two different things. A lot of players get at over paid everyday.
I think he could have pushed that 58-60M if he wanted to make a scene and potentially force a trade or whatever.
not because he's the best qb but because that's how the nfl is - supply and demand. Someone would have paid it. I'm just glad this really went well. I'm glad he got paid and I'm glad it was done in a fashionable time.
It's a fair deal all around, IMO.

I think he is better than Dak, Lawrence, Tua, and Love.

Similar deal to Goff and Tua, I think that's fair. Good for him, now it's time to get to work, earn it.

Sounds about right . Now we find out how good our GM is working with a normal QB contract

Thankfully it wasn't $60M/year. I was hoping for 50 but 53/year isn't bad.
Glad it got done sooner than later!
