those are some silly nicknames. those guys aren't perfect and neither is brock. if anything while the contract is being negotiated, let ppl say brock is not top 10 all they want. just helps our negotiating position, and the teams cap. if there is a huge narrative that he's not top 10, ok, maybe we save a few bucks. that helps the team.

No qb is perfect lol..anyone knows this? Just seems like sports talking heads dnt really watch football. Brock was actually #10 in this one. Jayden #1 was a definitely a reach lol. Lists are fun though.

i'd say the only thing serious about this exchange is you take the talking heads top 10 lists serious. i do not. as you say yourself, they don't really even watch. they can say whatever they want. the only brock opinion i care about is my own, the clubs, and you good folks on here

Exactly right. It almost seems like some fans are bigger Purdy fans than 49er fans. Most of us want Purdy signed, but the lower we can get him for the more flexibility the team has to sign other players. I've never understood why so many fans want him signed for the maximum amount possible.....makes no sense to me.

Lots of people put Goff ahead of Brock simply because he was a former 1st round pick and has been putting up big numbers with that talent and OL with the Lions.

The reason to put him down is simply to remind people what he is…which is when he's pressured he tends to fold more often than not.

Brock hasn't been perfect in his short career but he's never pissed himself in playoff games the way Goff has on numerous occasions and with better pass pro around him.

Love is ranked ahead of Brock by people who put more into physical tools for a QB over actual results. Love is a good QB(so is Goff) but once again he's come up short in those big moments and for me personally seeing a big arm QB who makes off balance throws in big moments that don't get to where they should don't move me.

Both Lions and Packers have or are trying to insulate their QBs so they'll get a chance to stat pad but if their defense isn't clicking then I'm not sure they'll get it done in the playoffs.

I personally like that Brock even when things haven't gone perfectly is able to keep it together and keeps trying to make plays. It may not always happen how we drew it up but there was never a moment where I felt he wasn't there mentally and to me that's a big trait for a QB if you're looking to win football games in the postseason.

I can assure you what rankings he is on CBS will not influence the negotiations lol.

Nor will the consensus on his worth on here or any other 49ers fan discussion.
