sorry, but I just don't like the idea of Brock not getting the money he deserves and the excuses are the ones you mentioned..

WHY not offer him the money that the management feels he ONLY deserves, and if he doesn't take it.. then TRADE HIM..

He lost the SB…

The kid faced a better defense coached by the guy who held Tom Brady at his best to 14 points and Brock never left the field with a deficit and got the team the lead every time he went onto the field in the 4th qtr and OT.

It certainly wasn't perfect but saying he lost the SB with the context that you're implying is crazy.

I honestly don't understand why some of you are being extra here.

They could not start negotiations before March. It's a complex deal. Expecting it to be done by May or it means things are ugly or the team is scared to extend him is ridiculous.

Can someone honestly tell me what has come out about these negotiations so far that screams the deal is in any range of getting done?

Literally all the talk is "when, not if" and the guy reported for OTAs.

I was all for Cousins in fact I still think we have #6 if Lynch didn't throw that plan out the window and decide to trade a 2nd for garbagopplo. That being said that ship sailed a LONG time ago 😂

Dan Snyder was NEVER going to let KS acquire Cousins...it was personal and petty

Washington accidentally launched us into the modern QB pay era bc Snyder kept paying Cousins the franchise money rather than let him go to KS

Washington had no choice had we not traded for Garoppolo and he played as well as he did. Cousins was going to be a 49er in 2018 no question about it. We had the most cap space in the NFL and a clear love affair between coach and QB.
