Kinda this tbh. Stopped watching the draft after the first WR pick, deflated the excitement and was not anticipating much for the OL at all. It felt like a kick ass draft then...meh. I was kinda expecting it though and why I thought Purdy should wait till after the draft. Not a good year for OL players, alrighty then.

There's been constant b**ching in here that the defense was the reason we didn't make the playoffs, not Brock's play.

It'd be nice to not drag this into TC, like numerous times in the recent past.

There's been no hint of a possible hold out. It'd really not give him much leverage anyways in what looks to be a rebuild year.
What we've "heard" on the contract front is they're closer than before,...but either way, he's locked in here.

Brocks deal should have done been finished by now. When it comes to contracts this org. is terrible at getting things done.

We need to be bold with this, apparently the latest hold up is we're offering 3 years and he wants 5. I'd go 8! Loads of guaranteed money but really spread out. The kid is the real deal. Let's control his cap hits and stop him going back to the market.

I'm kind of glad it's not. I'm treating this year as a mini rebuild anyway. If Mac attack Jones ends up playing then so be it. I love Brocks work ethic and savvyness, but this needs to be a patient process. 50 mil plus is a lot to dish out annually
