Allen is an early playoff darling.

It's a stupid statement. That's one of the worst sports takes fans throw out there. I guess by that logic Foles is on the same level if not better than Marino or Brian Scalabrine was on the same level as Barkley. There isn't a single not 49ers fan that would say Purdy is even close to Josh Allen.

I disagree. I think it is close...but maybe close is perspective. Purdy is a top 7qb..maybe better. Allen is a top 3.

Purdy is not a top 7 QB. As mentioned, stats don't tell the entire story. Brock struggles when it rains for Christ's sake

There's actually an argument that Brock is top 10? Only homers would suggest that . He's 11-15, and clearly not good enough for the Niners to offer him a top tier contract.
