Check how many first downs he picked up with his legs

And some of those runs weren't exactly nobody in the vicinity types. Hell Brock led the team with rushing TDs last year(obviously injuries played a factor but still)

I wish he would do this more, especially on 3rd downs

That's where I will give some blame to Kyle, you know he wants to find his man and throw it, and Purdy probably feels that pressure a bit. But ya, I wish he would run even more often, although it seemed like last year he did it bit more than his previous year.

I am torn on the running.

The moment you get crazy with it is the moment you have a season ending injury.

He is not built like Allen or Lamar.

Purdy is good at avoiding contact when running and not taking the big hits. He's like RW in that sense.

He's definitely not built like Allen but Lamar actually is slimmer than Brock. Purdy is a pretty solid 220(most of it is in his legs)

Hell Lamar talked about slimming down before this past season IIRC. I do agree with your concerns when running for QBs cuz you never know but all of Brock's injuries happened in the pocket so far. I think QBs have more control over takings hits as runners and Brock doesn't run like Josh Allen.

Brock doesn't need to be built like LJ and Allen to run towards the vacated area and slide

this is true with the not built like allen and lamar. that's why brock is not a designed part of the SF run game, like those guys are. brock is an off schedule, don't like the coverage you see, you can buy time or get some free yards, ideally without contact on the QB. it is one of his real strengths, playing fast and moving fast with quick stop and start.

Once again...Lamar is slimmer and smaller than Purdy.

Lamar is just a much better athlete and runner but size wise Brock most definitely matches up to Lamar.

We're "loyal" alright. Just not in the order in which people think we are.

Hahaha

the report I saw was Griese is taking a step back from coaching. He didn't even really want to do it this yr apparently. Long hrs and kids
Griese will end up in Miami.

No one removed Griese from anything, he was gonna leave after his first year as QB coach but he decided to honor his three-year commitment. Whoever said he got removed is making s**t up.

Thats fair as long as he continues to know when to get down.

We all watched what happened to Jimmy on that sideline.

I don't think anyone here knows, no reason to keep asking every day
The fact he isn't signed and lynch said "no guarantees" makes me pretty confident niners are playing hard ball.

And to some degree they should but this needs to be resolved soon. If Brock is the QB we can't have him missing tc/etc

Maybe Mayo is just excited

Good. They just caved to bosa, Deebo, cmc, ayiuk and Williams. And for what?. Tons of missed time due to injuries and some regression
