Ok that's fair but I can pretty much guarantee you that if he signs a 5+ year deal you're not going to see a cap hit of 60 mil per the bulk of those seasons if any.
if you give him a 2 year $120 million deal he's getting $60 mil at least one of those years.

i think he would struggle to get paid on the FA market. ppl would say he's undersized, with arm limitations and would prefer a rookie or a cheap more toolsy reclamation project. we are bidding ourselves into irrelevance.

brock purdy is the topic. i treat players different cuz they are different. if brock was a rocket armed QB who took us to the champ game or Super bowl every season and won 3 rings i would be talking about him exactly as i speak about the other guy.
