It's crazy that with one of the greatest qbs ever, retired with essentially every passing record, he mustered only one Super Bowl appearance. He clearly isn't great at building a complete roster to ensure he can compete annually. Lol

Kyle isn't perfect but I think he's an excellent overall coach and still very young, relatively speaking. We are in great hands. THIS IS GOING TO BE A MAGICAL SEASON BABY!

LFG already! I have no sports to watch as my Knights took a 💩 and NHL trophy passed to FL..nothing to look forward to sports wise..let's get it going. I need some damn highlights 🍿.

But I think Kyle *can* build a defense. I think he's a bit like Jim Harbaugh in that he's a big believer in the strong run game and a great defense. Kyle's defenses are unorthodox for sure. Wide 9 on the front end, and Seifert/Carroll zone coverage on the back end.

The criticism isn't so much that hus arm is weak. It's more than good enough for what he's asked to do in Kyle's offense. When people say his arm isn't great they're comparing hum to Mahomes and Allen who both ave ++ arms. Maybe a couple of other guys with those super cannons. It's the same reason he isn't ranked at the top by a lot of writers. He doesn't have the super arm the huge size or the blazing speed. All things that are over rated but still are seen as being important. Brock has all the stuff that a QB needs but he isn't flashy.

It's like buying a car just because it has the most HP when you aren't ever going to need that extra power.

I'm not sure how it's still a discussion or why people don't understand. Purdy doesn't have an elite arm. When you don't have an elite arm, you can't be as late on throws or fit things in at different times. It doesn't mean you can't succeed without one, but it's nice to have!

Literally every QB in NFL history, starter/backup/etc, can throw a football 60 yards in the air so it isn't about that and never has been

While I prefer Shanahan to Payton, got to admit NO was cursed in a couple of them playoffs. Referees screwed them once and that safety letting Diggs score on that one play at the end of the game. No telling how far they woulda went but they were cursed for a couple/few years
