Way I see it, it's the force that guides Brock and Brock trusts in the force. His religion is just his interpretation of the force.

It's not pushing his s**t on to other people to express his own beliefs. That aside, if you've watched sports before this is nothing new from professional athletes.

I'm sorry that this has hurt you so deeply, its his belief system, if its important to him, great, not sure why it offends you so much, he's not telling you go run off to a church, mosque or synagogue, its his deal.
It doesn't hurt me at all, I love the guy, just saying it's mildly annoying and people who have a problem with that can stfu. Until it's the national jesus league I think it's ok to point out it's slightly weird.

Purdy was thrust into a very tough situation - a SB ready team, with very high expectations. That by itself is a lot of weight on the shoulders.
What he has done in the last two games, in the playoffs when the stakes are freakin' super high, more so in the last game, hats off.

When was he asked about his beliefs btw?
I mean some of these dudes won't stfu about all glory to god and durka durka Muhammad jihad etc, so brock isn't even that bad, but again, no one asked about his f'ing beliefs. Why is that point so hard to understand?

You obviously think it's weird because you don't share those beliefs. Neither do I, so we're on the same page there. Not hard to respect other peoples beliefs though, and him expressing his publicly isn't the same as forcing them onto anyone else.

Like I said, I'm sorry this happened to you but hearing athletes, regardless of their faith speak about their religious views is hardly unique and quite commonplace across many sports. Everyone finds strength in different things and a short statement during a moment of incredible euphoria is hardly anything to get overly exercised about.

Folk I grew up Christian. In my adulthood I've learned a lot let's just say that and I still respect my faith teachings though I have evolved to being spiritual and not religious
That said I respect religion and its role in keeping people from being uncivilized because I truly believe some folk need a religion to keep from behaving like animals
I respect Brock being a practicing Christian and I support him so long as his religious beliefs doesn't violate the lifestyle that others may choose
Go Brock!

Nobody had to. Nobody asked you for an opinion on it either, lol. Yet here you are offering one (nothing wrong with it to be clear).
