I really hate the hate that Purdy gets. Because I feel it's not true and it's so wildly exaggerated. I wish he didn't have that Ravens game. A lot of the country didn't watch him all year. Hundreds of millions watch on Christmas day. Because everybody is off. He has his WORST day ever as a pro. Just awful. 4 interceptions. A lot were tipped passes. But they still happened. The country and media then says see he sucks and is being carried by the team of weapons.

They didn't watch the whole year and body of work. They just don't understand. It's all so unfair. He's a heck of an accurate thrower and he can make off schedule plays too.

It wasn't just the Ravens game. It was the prime time games as a whole. He played great against Dallas but outside of that, the prime time appearances didn't really help his case as not being anything more than a product of the system. Most of the talking heads and definitely the fans are not watching, and definitely not deeply reviewing, every game every team has played.

Couple that with his draft position and lack of top physical talent and none of this is surprising. It also doesn't mean anything.
