I think one of if not the most impressive things about Brock for me is his pocket Awareness. He seems to understand when he should get the ball out quickly and when he should take his time and wait for stuff to develop. He just seems so calm with the ball in his hands. Even more impressive given the fact that he is a rookie.

I still see a QB competition, but again that's a convo for 2023. Good problem to have
If he keeps rolling, I don't see how we limit his reps in the off-season/TC by splitting him with Trey.

There were three plays that he made that will not show up in the stat line but all three showed exceptional awareness as well as athletic ability.
The most impressive was his 360-degree throw-away. He showed good speed initially, then a little stutter step to buy time, and then the spin and awareness of where to throw it. If I tried to spin around like that I would be lucky to stay standing up much less throw it away.
The second was the scramble where he went out of bounds for a short sack rather than throwing it away. It was great because he recognized there were linemen downfield and a throwaway would have resulted in a penalty.
The third was toward the end of the game where he chose to take a sack rather than a risky throw to JJ who was open on the sideline.
That is good QB stuff right there.

Offense is the exciting with Brock. We actually throw the ball down the field. That Kittle TD pass was beautiful.
Hopefully we don't see JG again this season

Not to s**t on the guy, but Jimmy G doesn't even try to make this throw.

Yup. When I saw that throw, my jaw dropped. So incredible.
The BCB ride continues. He's faced three great defenses so far. Next up is the Raiders DL. Let's see how he handles that.

drove me insane by the way - had my son texting me updates.
over all how did he look today?
As has been mentioned the first half was meh for him. It wasn't ugly, just never got started. The two tipped balls killed momentum. Didn't seem to phase him in the slightest though. Washington was strong overall up front.
Purdy seems to want to quietly steal the opponents' soul.
Love it!

I mean what can we say? He looks fantastic and has breathed massive life into this offense. I'm just going to take it week by week and wish this kid nothing but the best.

Love the win but folks are easily forgetting Trey is QB1. There is no controversy.
The only controversy are those developed in this forum.
But fun XMAS win. Improved nicely in the second half.
