Reverse racism IMO

Much the same way reverse carnivorism doesnt exist between lions and zebras,...there is no such thing as reverse racism.

Maybe you meant to use other terms to describe some bias that you feel is oncoming, but haven't witnessed yet?

True, there is no thing as Reverse Racism. Its just Racism. I guess Reverse Racism would be the opposite of Racism, which means No Racism?

Though I think in this case its more of an East Coast Bias sort of thing.

East Coast Bias didn't force Brock to throw 4 interceptions in the MVP bowl.

I do think Lamar will win it and I don't have a big problem with it.

I just think Purdy had a big uphill battle to win it. mainly being a new kid on the block and everyone thinking he is only good because of those around him(coaches and other start players). I think he would of even had a tough time winning it if he played a solid game.

It wasn't close at all. Not one person mentioned Lamar for MVP until every other option dropped off and Purdy was clearly better than them.

There isn't a running ladder to say who's actually ahead and behind. Lamar had been top 5 in odds for quite a few weeks though, and in the weeks prior to the game the other QBs ahead of him had effectively dropped back with poor performances. First it was Hurts and then Dak. Going into the game Brock was a -200 favorite to win and Lamar was second at +3-400. It was quite clear that the game would have a huge say in who would win the award and Brock had his worst game of his career arguably.

Shouldn't of thrown 4 INTs in a game where the world was watching

He is still a second year player so I will give him a pass. It was Christmas day for a man that is clearly Christian and things may have been a bit too much against a team that clearly wanted to prove themselves vs us that game. Baltimore used that game as a measuring stick game whereas we just approached it like yet another big game in primetime. BAL thought that game was the Super Bowl. Brock will learn from this

I just watched the first Rams game from earlier in the season and Brock was good however he is so much better now. He missed some deep throws which caused all the hate on Purdy morons to go off. In watching this game seeing how much he improved, I wonder how great he can become. He's not even close to his ceiling and only in his second season.

Not only will Brock learn from the Ravens game, he's like Steph Curry, another baby face assassin. He will crush the Ravens and I was actuality scared of that possible match up. After watching how much better he is the Ravens will have their "Tells" handed to them up their arsh.

Brock can definitely get better. The option/choice routes that are installed for CMC and Brock are an example of Kyle's evolving the game. Last year - I think - the choice for CMC was simply two options -- run a TExas In route, or run an out after you get past the line of scrimmage. This year, Kyle and Purdy added the vertical choice route for CMC. He's burned a lot of defenses with that choice route. There's nothing stopping Kyle and Brock from adding choice/option routes also for Juszczyk, and the rest of the receivers. As for Kittle, Aiyuk, and Deebo - they can expand the choice routes *they* run also, just like how they expanded the choice routes for CMC. As Purdy grows in this offense, the offense will grow with him. At some point, the defense can't stop the offense if everybody is on the same page no matter what defense they will call.

I was pissed he missed those deep throws in that game and wasn't sure if he was gonna be able to him them. I'm glad I was wrong

Agree, about the missed deep throws. I also think that Feliciano has been key in helping Brock on those deep throws. Feliciano's bigger and I think is able to anchor better than Burford in the pass protections. Giving Brock that extra .5 seconds is a big difference maker in my opinion, in Brock progressing on his deep passes.

Yeah everyone knows the MVP comes down to one head to head game, not the season as a whole.

It's not based on one game though. It was a close race going into the game and the game became the deciding factor. It's just not all about stats either. Obviously Brock is statistically superior in damn near every category.

I am perfectly fine that our first year starter was even in on the MVP favorites conversation. I just want to win the Super Bowl for the guys and I am sure that is what Purdy wants as well. You know he pressed Christmas Day. He heard all the chatter and he had to go through a tough game on the big stage. Now that this is behind him, he will be better for it. Now it is time to get 4 more wins this season

Totally agree. I think the MVP chatter did get to him, and also to Kyle. I remember Kyle calling all the run and pass plays to CMC to help him try to break that ancient record streak about 14+ (I think) straight TD's - and it was no surprise the other team just overloaded on stopping CMC and stopped the 49ers in a sense - on that particular series.

Everybody has a bias. To me the question is - are you aware of the bias or not. Some are, some aren't. Nothing Brock can do about people's Bias, other than to keep performing at such a high level that those Bias' are changed. As an example Aiyuk missed this years Pro bowl, next year - if he plays like he did this year - I'm pretty sure he won't. Just like CMC missed the probowl last year, but he sure didn't this year.

It's like Cmc was made in a lab for kyle and his system. In a way, he's been groomed for it his whole life. Lol CMC's dad played for papa shanahan and the families are close.

what Brock is best at, is exactly what kyles systems need to operate at an incredible level. Accuracy, confidence, anticipation, quick processing - all things Brock does best. Brock will just get better as the years go on. This off season, he will review all his film and study defenses. Perfect the offense even more, diagnosing defenses, actually get to work on his mechanics. We are in for such a treat.

Gonna start playing 4D chess on dem boys like Brady did. Gonna have defenses heads spinning like a totem on Inception

It's just a matter of time. If he's doing this with like 20 starts under his belt, and we've seen how fast he learns and adapts, then it's going to be like you said. Just incredible. In this offense, he will just eat defenses alive with even more precision and anticipation.

Taking a midseason vacation to Canada I guess.

Kind of find the last statement funny. It's probably just nuts to get into a jet engine propelled tube and fly through the air at 500 knots period. Some day in the future they'll look back and laugh.

Brock got overconfident and careless with the ball. He in fact doesn't deserve the MVP. I expect lesson learned, and good prep for the post season. VI, here we come.
