Shots fired at Trey.
Trey who?
Trey Sermon?
I've said 2 things over and over about B-Rock Steady Purdy... and I will continue to post this over and over and over..
1) I haven't seen any QB this impressive since Dan Marino in 1984 as far as winning... Lets hope B-Rock's season has better ending than Dan's.
2) Had B-Rock been the 3rd overall pick (instead of Baby Face Lance), he'll OWN half of the NFL already.
It's been really hard for many people to see Brock for what he is. They still see the last pick in the draft that is a little undersized. They can't wrap their head around what he's actually doing.
especially that darn Nick Wright or whatever his name is... he keeps stating that until Brock shows him that he can lead the team from behind, he will continue to believe that he's a system QB.
The question I want to ask NOSY NICK is .....
WHAT IF BROCK AND THE 49ERS ARE AHEAD (85%) OF HIS PLAYING CAREER WHILE WINNING SBs AFTER SBs, WOULD THAT BE HIS FAULT ??
They just had Jeff Garcia on KNBR. It was interesting to hear his thoughts on Brock. He sees nothing wrong with being a system QB. That's what the QB is supposed to do. Execute the plays that the OC calls. Garcia said that too many young QBs with really strong arms just want to let it fly instead of taking advantage of those wide open intermediate throws.
What Kyle dials up takes advantage of the rules as they now exist in the NFL. He expects his QB to play within the system. A big armed talent like Josh Allen might not fit well in Kyle's system. A smart QB that knows his limitations and processes well is a better fit.
