This is a great example of Purdy's field awareness and football IQ. He read the entire field and knew immediately where BA had to go to get open. BA, for his part, trusted his QB for an easy catch and score.

It's so nice having a passing game that can go off script. That has been a missing dimension.

Yup. Next step is for defenses to start game planning to stop the passing attack....but right now, they are in a bind. It's a good spot to be in.

next step for the d is to get rest and get armstead back lol then they'll be tip top magoo

As mentioned in the AA thread, if his time away is tied to last years injury plantar fasciitis.....I wouldn't put a timetable in it at all.
Just Imagine Jeff, Steve or Joe being given the opportunity to lead a "system" offense like over rated Brock…..or I mean…..All time leading yards in a season Brock 😎
great throw by Brock. Nice play by Aiyuk too but that was a dime.

Tbh, I'm not familiar with his injury and/or how it works. He's been out a month now, so by our first game - he will be out 6 weeks.

i thought it was more the knee than the foot? Cause he played through it in the eagles game but hurt his knee in that game. Am I mistaken?

I think it's the other way around....which is why some are tying it to plantar fasciitis...because he missed somewhere around half the season last year.

Well hopefully 6 weeks is enough. I think he will try to play through it though. I'm optimistic about it but concerned.

overall, the first seed is HUGE. We started out the year hot as hell. Then after the bye we were on fire. So after this bye - we should be back to domination. Also cool that we don't have to travel to a hostile territory. I'm amped

It's the dimension that makes you a legit SB contender.

CONGRATS Purdy!!

BOOM!

And WITH the least passing attempts in the NFL.

Having that running game to take the load off has catapults the efficiency. No surprise there.

Just evidence that the game has changed.

Backhanded complement. You just can't help yourself, can you?

It's nice to have a qb that can actually scramble and make plays. Lol jimmy was a damn statue.
