wtf they moved the ball with ease
It was feast or famine for the passing game. Yes, the ravens gave up some yards but they only allowed 17 points. 7 of those points off of 2 big running plays. The ravens defense had 5 INT's, 11 PBU's, 9 QB hits and 4 sacks.
ya the turnovers are well documented. the gameplan wasn't the problem. i think it might have been the turnovers.
Oh really? So you think that the ravens defense was just lucky? No credit to the #1 pass defense, huh? All luck? The bottom line is attacking your opponents strengths instead of their weaknesses is the dumbest strategy one can plan.
You're right as well, we should've went with a more running / PA game plan.
Kyle and Purdy are both human and I think it was pretty obvious that both of them understood the hype around this game and the MVP hanging in the balance.
Ravens played very well, those tipped passes although they didn't result in incompletions, it shows how good their coverage was. They were ready for it, they sat on the pass this game and allowed us to run the ball. This would've been an easy win if we didn't get too cocky, but I didn't mind it at all. Love that Kyle wanted an aggressive game plan and that Brock accepted the challenge and never backed down. Just didn't go our way this time.
At least we don't have to worry about the MVP anymore, and Brock won't feel that pressure going into the playoffs of having to play hero ball.
