In your opinion, is the "it" factor binary? Meaning either a player has the "it", or he doesn't? Or are there varying degrees of the "it"?

I think "It" is something you either have or you don't.
even if "it" is something that can be developed by a player, it takes years and years of self work to develop those kind of attributes mentally etc. so if a player hasn't done that or naturally have it by the time they reach the league, It's too late because they won't get the numerous years it would take to develop it.
that's my opinion. I'm in the school of thought that not everyone is equal and some people are just genetically better than others - not just physically but mentally as well. It's why I think the mental aspect of the game is something you have or you don't, you have to be part of the lucky sperm club. It's a harsh reality of life that people for some reason refuse to accept.
