It was not a Brock Purdy touchdown despite spinning away from the rusher, scrambling outside, buying time, then throwing the touchdown to CMC. Really it was a broken play scramble drill. He also says he trusts Dak Prescott more at QB on Sunday's than Brock Purdy.

So glad I do not pay attention to these oatmeal brain hot take shows

i tried once out of curiosity and even the way they talk is annoying as fck, definitely not worth my time and clicks

Always a lil awkward when you have guys who played and coached, and then the studio head loudmouth who thinks he knows more. Must be hard for guys 8 years in the league to sit there and listen to Nick with a straight face.

sorry SD, but i discuss the Ruiz ranks so trigger warning if needed ** ok BP gaining traction at QB 16, so Ruiz starting to move him up, he was of course 32 to start the year and never higher than 19..

So it goes Jordan Love, then BP, the Caleb Williams.. on the NFL QB Ranks
Geno oddly moving up to #7, despite not playing. Geno not really having a great year, by any measure imo
yet, SR still has left the verbiage of his ranking unchanged. it's patently false.

When Mahomes or Jackson make a play like that it's because "they're magicians" When Brock does it it's because Kyle is a genius. Image is everything. Brock's image is a poor athlete with an average arm. Mahomes and Jackson are looked at as exceptional athletes. Therefore, everything they do is exceptional.

Yeah I don't think he updates the verbiage, or if he does, he'll put a date of when that was written, I think he wrote that maybe preseason.

I found something in the verbiage, along the lines of and I'm paraphrasing, if he improves his accuracy and makes throws beyond just Kyle scheming em open, he will rise to match his production.. well that's reality, the SEA BA throw perhaps example numero uno. So he's not living up to his own verbiage, or maybe he missed that throw, and others like it..

I still think it has to do with the obsession with his draft status

Yeah that's how they look at it. Which is unfair.

That's a big part of it. That along with his combine and scouting reports. Put them all together and writers have a pre conceived notion that's hard to overcome. He may need to win a SB and the MVP then repeat in 2024 before more people start giving him the credit he is due.

I'd pay to see Sherm and Nick battle.

on the draft status, I can think of #1 overalls that BP has more talent than, like Alex Smith or Goff. No way Goff gets turned with that rusher up the middle, like BP did, on the CMC TD that SD is talking about. Goff would have been dead in the water on that one, he doesn't move as well as BP.

I don't know that it'd be a battle, but I'd definitely pay to see Uncle Dick curb stomp the guts out of him.
