Ravens pass defense gives up an average of 1.0 passing TD per game which is best in the league. They have the 2nd best redzone defense and give up the lowest (4.8) yards per attempt. Ravens run defense is a whole other story. So that is where I believe we do most of our damage with CMC and Deebo leading the way.

I think the ravens have a worse defense than their stats say - look at who they've played, it's really nothing to hang your hat on.

they just got lit up by the rams at home. So I think we will put harm on em. If our defense is healthy by then, we def stomp em. If we are still missing key guys, it'll be a closer game.

i think that Mooney, aemstead, and hargrave could all play this week if we really felt we needed them to. We're just giving them rest for the ravens game and to help them not limp into the playoffs.

I mean legit this team could have a case for all major award categories- Fred Warner for DPOY, CMC for OPOY, and Brock for MVP.
So much bs goes into all of this that I will take it with a grain of salt if they actually win but damn Sam, this team is historically stacked.

Yes. Matthew Stafford threw 3 TD passes against them. He also threw the ball 41 times with an OT period and had less than 300 yards. But hey, if you think I am going to sit here and say, "Brock, tone it down a bit", if he starts lighting them up you are sadly mistaken.

We don't have to agree with his opinion. And, I personally don't take the title of "Game Manager" as a negative - as long as the "Game Manager" is elite - and Brock is playing at that elite level - so how does it matter? It doesn't really matter that he is doing it on the team with elite talent at WR, RB, TE and LT position.

How is Mahomes looking without elite talent around him? You can do this with most great QBs in the league.

Anyone and everyone is entitled to an opinion, but I don't agree with the idea that he was elite. He was an elite athlete, special in that regard, but he was a very average qb 90% of his career.

his MVP year - he somehow got all the credit for the success even though it was really the defense.

- 75% of all cams passing touchdowns came in 4 games (25% of the season). Which means he was 1-1 TD/INT ration for 75% of the season.

- Between 2005-2015, that panthers defense in 2015 was statistically the 6th best defense in the entire NFL in the last decade (2005-2015).

- that defense led the league in interceptions at 25 and tied for first in forced fumbles at 15 forced fumbles.

- their schedule was a joke and played like 3 teams with a winning record. Lol

cam had a good year but anyone who thinks that cam was the main reason that team won so many games, Is full of it. That defense was awesome.

what happened when cam ran into a good defense? He looked like a fool and scored 10 points in a super bowl with multiple turnovers. Cam always sucked against good defenses in his career, especially when he couldn't run around.

cam is one of the most overrated QBs I've ever heard of. If he didn't get that bunk MVP - he wouldn't even be remembered as much. Dude didn't even complete 60% of his passes.

cam was a good football player but very average qb. There is a reason his game aged so poorly. He had like 2 good seasons in 10 years.

You don't luck into a MVP. He was the biggest reason why they made it to the Super Bowl. You're doing the same thing what ppl do to Brock. He was the MVP of that team and that year in NFL. Panthers did a terrible job of adding talent to that team and Cam used to get beat up behind that OL.

He also won the college National championship as well. The idea that Cam was an average QB is crazy talk to me. No offense.

Regardless - he is wrong about Brock and that's ok.

He was definitely just managing the game there.
I hate that we are playing *the Ravens* on Christmas...unless we win. I keep forgetting it's a home game idk why.

what's there to hate? christmas day on monday night football, afc's best vs nfc's best, potential SB preview

the stage is set for purdy to plant the MVP flag
Never cared for Fig Newton but he certainly has a right to have an opinion.

And "Opinions are like Asshol--s - everyone has one.

IMO, he's just trying to make $$ on his podcast and stay relevant.

Here's a point - With all the subpar QB's out there like Tribisky - nobody is calling this scrum for a tryout.

Brock will easily have the last laugh on him and all the other haters.

Stafford doesn't really have a deep threst this year, from what I've seen. He's playing almost like jimmy always did - short throws all day long.

i respect the ravens, for sure, specifically their coaching. But I just don't think they're in the same league with us.

i will say their special teams concerns me. They always have a great special teams unit and a lot of speed on it

I really wasn't discussing the rest of the matchups. Just Brock vs their pass D. I am expecting only 1 passing TD but I would ecstatically take 5 if Brock can get them.

Because they are a good redzone D, I could see us rushing in on them if we get down there. Kyle usually does that anyways but baltimore has a really good interior line.

their main focus will be to stop the run, so I think the gameplan will be to open the run game with the pass game.
