Yeah in that moment it was the smart thing to do. I remember a game with the Giants vs Dallas a few years back, late in the 4th with the Giants up 3 and Eli ran out of the pocket near the goalline to throw the football away instead of taking the sack, letting the clock keep running and kicking the FG. That extra bit of time was all Dallas needed to take the ball down the field and win.

This "Legend of Brock Purdy" nonsense has to stop.
