Which I guess was somewhat bland but I can't stand halftime shows lol. I miss the more classy times of football & ESPN tbh

Go the NFCCG rather than the Super Bowl. SB's are just big media events, nothing but corporate d-bags there. Championship games are still true fans. Just my two cents.

I feel attacked.

I am a corporate d-bag….yet I love the game and the niners.

Lol. I don't think the type of corporate d-bags I'm talking about are on the webzone.
The above videos are auto-populated by an affiliate.

Lol that looks fun:)

I think you are missing Jeremiah's point.

He's talking about Purdy purely as a player not his leadership ability.

What he means is that Purdy isn't like a Herbert, Allen, Mahomes etc where they carry the team.

100% . I had just watched this video on YT. Was ready to post as I totally agree with his tractor and trailer ideology.

yeah... I would not worry about it. If you do go, you should be able to make friends / crash a party / tailgate with folks.

The NFC Champ game would be cool, if I found a good deal on tics. I think the last NFC Champ game at Candlestick was really good price-wise IIRC. I think a good spot was 350 or so idk. Prices for the Raiders game is crap too. But Vegas likes to charge extra for everything.

Careful if it's in philly, those mofos will assault you ha

🔘 Yes
🔘 No

Is Demeco going to Texas lol?

He's going to have his pick of HC openings.

While I'll disagree with this, I do agree he's good as gone. Some teams don't like defensive head coaches because of turnover at OC if the team is good. It can make it hard for a QB, especially a young one. Look at the 49ers for example, look at how many offensive coaching personnel we've lost in the last few years.

It's going to hurt losing Meco. Dudes a superstud at DC. Man it'd be nice to get him for another few years some way some how.

From a homer perspective, sure, from an outside perspective, this organization was a burning dumpster fire. They canned Harbaugh, fired three head coaches in three years, the roster was a mess, the owner was seen as a hothead jackass, in no way, shape or form was this a great job for Shanahan, nor the best job opportunity that offseason.

Houston as far as the ownership goes is pretty hands off. They hire people for better or worse and let them do their thing. They fired Easterby who was the source of a lot of the discontent in the organization, they'll have the #1 pick in the draft, meaning Bryce Young is incoming, they have a whole lot of other picks coming from teams like Cleveland, there's some decent young players on the roster, its nowhere near as bad of an opportunity as you seem to believe.

Ryans also has ties to the organization, having been a player there for six years. If Young is as good as advertised than that job has the potential of a quick turnaround, especially in that division. You can slot him in as the QB while a lot of the other jobs are going to have question marks and insufficient ability to acquire a top QB such as Carolina and Indy.

Shanahan wasn't an outsider. He was very familiar with the DeBartolo/York family. The 49ers may have been in need of a rebuild at the time, but were still a cornerstone franchise in the NFL. Its a world of difference from the crappy Texans irrelevant franchise.

Not only that but the real power in ownership was the one to push things heavily toward Shanahan. Jed may be acting, but Denise is the owner and had an affinity for Mike and therefore Kyle. My understanding is she essentially told Jed "Get it done and back off and let them do their thing".

Lol, just give Jed his due. No need to start making things up

So basically we either have Jimmy G or one of the greatest to ever throw the pigskin (not factoring a ring).

I know its wishful thinking but I hope he decides to stay another season.

If I were an owner, and had a DC or OC at rock star status I'd find someway to evolve the position. Don't know what DeMeco makes but increase it threefold. Closer to HC if need be. Greater role in final defensive draft decisions? FA?

It seems there must be a way to grow the position, rapidly increase salary, and stay put. He's still incredibly young. What's the rush homie?
