Wont be the first time and wont be the last that a QB sees his D giving up dumb plays and not getting off the field, then decides to play hero ball. And as many have said... he is just getting to a full season worth of games.
Defenses are catching up, he can't float the ball over the middle anymore. he has to continue to hit other options and maybe layoff the middle a bit

When the run game gets going again, the middle will open up. The problem has come from LBs dropping into coverage areas they would not be in if the run game was operating.

Hopefully that is true but, Purdy loves the middle.. so there are chances for the defense no matter what

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Isn't that a major part of Kyles system, to attack the middle of the field? Or at at least thats what I gather from from watching JD's breakdowns. That's how Kyle ties the pass and running game together.

i wouldn't trust anyones breakdowns unless it's from kyle himself.

If Kyles offense is one option down middle or run up the middle, then maybe Kyle isn't the guy... but I don't buy that. I've seen other options open the last game and with Kyle being more animated than i can remember on the sidelines means someone is missing something out there.

EVEN more reason to use MASON or PRICE... just to change the style, the phase of our running game... give CMC the rest so that he can be even more effective against those LBs that just got punished by MASON N PRICE
Steve Young's assessment

"A lot of guys throw picks at the end of games, they're like, 'What happened?'" Young shared. "Well, if you don't know what happened, then we're in deep trouble, bro, because you're the one with the ball in your hands. But I'm telling you, a lot of quarterbacks come to the sidelines after making mistakes, and Coach will say, 'What did you see?' They're making it up. Literally like, 'Whoa, I thought the linebacker went deep.' Like their mind went blank."

"That's not Brock. Brock is going to come to the sidelines and going to go, 'Oh, crap. I thought he was going to break earlier. I saw every bit of it.' Nothing ever happens, [in] my mind, that Brock doesn't see. And so those mistakes at the end of the game, he is an aspirational thrower. The ball's going to come out. I think he's unafraid, especially in that range that he's really good at."

You mean like this?

Yeah he should probably stop throwing these.

When there's 29 seconds left in the half and we're on our own 5 yard line with only 1 timeout? You're probably right.

Lol does this mean he never threw an INT over the middle or Defenses not starting to migrate over the middle? Look how far back LB is down the middle. They know it's coming eventually

also I said to lay off a bit, it doesn't mean to stop

He had more time than that in Minn

This is a playcall complaint. Run/down the ball if you want to go to half and not risk a turnover.

Was reading about Brock having a bunch of turnovers in one game as a senior and getting benched in the game.

The following week, Brock was 21/24 with 288 yards, 3 touchdowns, 0 INT, and the team won 48-3.

Hopefully he comes back refreshed from this break and produces a similar outcome. Of course, the defense needs to too.
Has anyone but Lynch (during Pappas intrigue this week) given Brock any credit for actually recovering and playing all games this year? His arm actually looks stronger.

If this was Jimmy that had the UCL tear, what do you think his chance would be he would play game 1, or even game 10 or any games this year?

Brock has a lot of heart and I'm convinced the fight in him will allow him to continue to improve physically & mentally as our QB.

What credit, we may need to save him from himself
