It's not that bad. Even good and I think it will get better too.

He's just dealing with his first period of teams trying to find a weakness. He will learn how to workaround what teams do. I think he's shown that he can figure out what you're doing and adjust. Just I think unfortunately some of this stuff has happened late in games after he'd been dominating so he's gotta be better prepared for stuff when he sees it.

Brock party has been playing as well as he's ever played..

.. until his interceptions. of which, have come at the most costly, and inopportune times unfortunately.

he needs to show he can play from behind, while still making plays and making the right decision. he needs to show growth now. we're not always going to have the lead

Those "weak passes over the MLB's head" have resulted in some of the best throws I have seen from Niner QBs in years.

Yeah he made some nice throws like that but I think defenses have become aware of that throw and are adjusting their depth accordingly. All he needs to do for me is to stop throwing those Int's and either throw it away or get down. L's hurt but they hurt a lot more when turnovers are involved.

Fans always over react whether the team wins or loses. We've gone from undefeated and SB winner to not making the playoffs in the span of 3 weeks if you listen to the fans.

The next 5 games are the critical part of the season. Four are against good teams. Three are on the road. Two are on the east coast. Two are against the division rival Seahawks. One against the Eagles. Going 3-2 or 4-1 would be great. Going 1-4 or 2-3 would make it a really tough road in the playoffs. It's the difference between playing on the road and hosting playoff games.

I just want the defense to play solid for four quarters. Purdy and the offense actually had a pretty good game vs. Cincy, okay maybe not pretty good, but they were keeping this team in the game. The defense right from the start struggled and got punched in the mouth and couldn't recover.

Great. We should now expect a 3 int game from Brock.

Anyone post the Kittle 3rd down pass that was dropped? posters were divided in the game day forum.

If he was a first rounder nobody would talk about "Is the next game his last chance?".
He's a 23 years old QB still learning the game. His games against the Steelers and the Cowboys are the proof this kid has the necessary talent to play at a high level.
He has to play better than he did in the last three games don't get me wrong but so do the team.
When guys like Bosa or Greenlaw miss tackles after tackles, you know something isn't right with the team right now.

As for Purdy he should be the starter all season. They need to see who he really is and above all there's no question he's the best QB on the team.
You're not improving the team by putting him on the bench or by putting more pressure on him.
He already has enough pressure on him since apparently it's Superbowl or Bust this season.
They shoud let him breath a little bit and let him play like he did at the end of last season.
I was really happy to see him make plays outside of the pocket against the Vikings and the Bengals. That's a part of his game that helps the team a lot specially with that O-Line without Trent.
