Haha. I tell people to stay calm and let things play out 1st. He will be getting his elite LT back soon.

But why are people so shocked that if and when you take away elite pieces from a QB,..that they no longer look elite themselves?

Do you really think he is an elite QB? I guess I am a little harder on a QB, I have seen Montana and Young been a fan since 77 I am 57 now. But I don't consider him elite and no where in the class of a Montana. Hey and I like him but man thats a stretch.

No. I don't. He's going to have to prove that,...and I said it when we were still undefeated. We want to anoint,...and we just as quickly want to take it away.

What we know is if you give him elite pieces,...he can look great. For now,...we are going to ride with that and see how far we can get,...but don't think for a second that if you take elite players away from the kid that he's carved himself out as some great player without them already. At this point he's not,...but that's okay.

The first pick today was on a broken play. That one is what it is. The 2nd one was horrendous. Jimmy G type sh*t that can't happen. Gotta be better.

i think hes been dinged

Really shocked at that first interception. There is 0 reason to throw the ball as there will be a flag 100% of the time with linemen down the field. He still threw the ball to Mitchell though? I remember similar play happened earlier in his career and he just went out of bounds and just lost like 1 yard or something. That is all he had to do just run out of bounds or just take a f**king knee. It's f**king first down man s**t if its 4th go for it all do whatever man but not on 1st down.

Earlier in his career he had the luxury of not being perfect, if he missed the play...no biggy...both side of the ball were strong and he simply did not have to make every play.

Last few weeks, he has to be perfect or they loose....period. He has a ton more stress now then he had before.

Brock needs to take the next step if the team is going to win like this. It is a part of being a QB. Want to be thought of as one of the best.....well this is part of it. Time to raise the bar.

3 2nd half turnovers today
2 on the final two drives last week

that's the kind of stuff that can play him into QB2, mistakes
when trailing in the 2nd half, that's when TOs can pile up, chasing the game causes TOs

We're still seeing more good throws than bad. There's no way of knowing if Darnold would have done any better. If Brock has another game like the last 3 in next time out then maybe it would make sense to start Darnold. If nothing else it would give Brock a chance to regroup and it lets him know that his job isn't secure. You have to earn it every week.

It wouldn't be the end of the world if they benched him for at least one game. Montana was benched and so was Young. They both got over it. Brock seems like he could handle it.

Lol Sam Darnold's not passing this kid this year. We've seen enough of Sam Darnold by now to know to stick it out with Brock.

You invested in the kid,...you said he's your guy. This is where you ride things out. Darnold's only in if Purdy gets hurt.

He's trailing and that's when you can't manage the game, you have to make plays, and TOs happen
saw it 2 weeks in a row now
maybe that's the definition of a FQB, a QB who can elevate the team in late game, when the D and run game aren't doing favors

Still a young player. Mistakes are gonna happen.

Challenges are part of the game. Let's see how he continues to work through it. Personally, I was encouraged with how he just put his head down and went back to work after the 2nd pick. Gotta have a short memory in this league.

Yet lance is a young player but noone said "mistakes are gonna happen" LOL hypocrisy much?

So much this, Brockscuses

yes he is. but I think he's been dinged the last two weeks. he is very good with TO's, but just not right in the head the last couple weeks. That's what i am thinking. Prolly should have played darnold today.
I don't think he is elite even when he has all the weapons on the field. I like him and the 49ers can win with him but to me he's not elite.

With Montana and Steve if they had the ball and were trailing in a game I never worried about it. I knew they would find a way. But with Brock I just don't get that feeling even when he has everyone playing I just don't .
He just needs Trent Williams back and he just needs to calm down and get out of his own head a little bit. I think he can play like he was before....
I don't care what anyone says Brock..I love u always haha 💓
Hopelessly devoted to youuuuu ❤️

Brock is still my guy but if he keeps committing crucial turnovers then sitting him for a week might need to happen. Like I said.I say Montana and Young get pulled from games and they were much better than Brock. Sometimes players need to be reminded that they can be replaced. Keep in mind we all formed our opinions of Brock when the Niners were on that winning streak. Now we're seeing how he plays when the team isn't playing so well. He's having to play from behind for the first time in his 49er career. The results have been mixed at best.
Brock is the future folks, you will see.
There are always challenges that arise, this is the NFL its a game of adjustments.
Kyle will make the moves he needs to and we will get healthy.

I promise you that 10 games into Young and Montana's career, you didn't feel that way.

Tony Romo disagrees with you despite a couple of turnovers.

Mahomes threw two bad picks today and no TDs...against the Broncos.
