Still a young player. Mistakes are gonna happen.

Challenges are part of the game. Let's see how he continues to work through it. Personally, I was encouraged with how he just put his head down and went back to work after the 2nd pick. Gotta have a short memory in this league.

Yet lance is a young player but noone said "mistakes are gonna happen" LOL hypocrisy much?

I was more than willing to wait through Lance's mistakes. He got injured and couldn't win the job back. Different situation, as Purdy is healthy and played really well for 12 games before this losing streak. Just not the same thing.

Couldnt win his job back? Why? He did pretty good on his last game he played for us. Or was it because Brock was already annointed as the "next" Joe Montana by Shanahan and Brock's fanboys?

Because Lance was injured and Purdy got to play and did well. Then Purdy and Darnold beat him out in training camp.

Let it go, man. That's just how it shook out. Gotta seize your opportunities in this league, and Lance didn't. Not all of it was in his control, but he won't be the first or last player that has had that happen to him. It's a tough business.
Turnovers lead to loses ! I'm not giving up on Purdy but it's beginning to look like he can't lead a comeback, and Legit NFL QBs have to be able to do so.
We were 5-0 and he had a 110 rating when we were healthy and he had Deebo, Williams. Clearly he was shining because of that talent and not because he's the franchise qb but that talent will return here and there's no need to overreact just yet.

Kyle should have sat him this game after the concussion. Rushed him back when he obviously needed rest and time to regroup himself. Now he might be damaged goods.

He will be fine. He's a good player. Still a rookie on games. Calm down.

I thought we are ready to win a SB and don't have time to develop a Qb?

He's still incredibly young. Let's see how the season plays out.

No he didn't. Shanahan just wanted to get rid of him since Purdy was the starter.

Time for Donald.....Purdy does not deserve to just be "given" future starts.....let him sit a few and regroup.

No, he's a player that's physical limitations have caught up after just 1 full season of starts. He has nowhere to go from here unless he grows an arm that can loosen teams up on the edges.

We might just have to use this season as a growing experience for Purdy and go all in next season. That's hoping that Purdy is really good and is just in a slump.

Nah, not gonna let it go. Not when u trade 4 first round picks to get him and then trade him for a 4th round pick after he only played 3 games. None of those games did he play with McCaffrey. Always with a backup rb. Shanahan and Lynch are friggin morons.

Im worried how he's responding when the team is down. He starts playing backyard football out there just forgets how to play QB.

We'll see after bye week. Not gonna fully freak out just yet.
I'm a little surprised how many are jumping off the band wagon. Purdy has shown a lot of good stuff and doesn't have a full season of starting under his belt yet. Let's see how it is the next few games with this 3 game slump. We need a games we saw last year from Purdy.

My biggest concern with Purdy is when he makes a mistake, he doesn't seem to rebound and the wheels fall off. He played a really good game today until the first INT. He and CMC were our best players through a little over a half.

Agreed with both. But his arrow is pointing down not up. Let's see how he responds after the bye

There are ebbs and flows to every season. This is still a championship contender imo. We need to hit our stride when it counts. We'll see how it shakes out.
