QB Brock Purdy Thread

Honestly, for me it´s maybe the least impressive game he had the last three weeks.
And we talk about a game at Seattle where apart from a dropped interception IIRC, he was excellent I thought.
Unbelievable.
He´s smart, confident, calm in the pocket. And his mobility changes a lot of things for this offense.
I don´t know what he will do for the rest of his career but he´s clearly not a Nick Mullens or CJ type of QB. He´s way, way better than that. Not even close.
Kyle said in his statement, that low tier coaching play of double pump fakes and td to kittle that they don't practice it and just walk through it yesterday.
Dude anyone recognizing the footwork on Brock? Damn those feet remind me of another QB....a damn good one.

That double fake.. just damn.

Al Michaels after that play, "Tell me that guy doesn't look 7 yrs into the league"

Sigh ❤️ 💛
I compared him to Russell Wilson when he first started in the NFL. His poise and football awareness. Nothing has changed. He showed more escapability last night. And maybe the ability to move on from a mistake quickly after throwing it right to the safety underneath.

Well he is going to make rookie mistakes in the big league but like you say he just got up and moved on.

His play was pretty good tonight particularly with injured ribs/obliques. Those injuries really hurt. The kid is tough. 3 from 3 is more than just the players around him. He really looks the real deal and I am feeling we have a real chance at the SB.

Dude has played against the likes of Oklahoma and Texas Tech for 4 years. Hostile crowds don't bother him.
I also liked that he gave glory to above. Confident on the field but humble before God..that's how ya roll my brother 💯

BROCKIN and rollin'!
can purdy run the trey lance offense that they installed in the summer???

no doubt. I don't want to get too far ahead here, but the last three weeks hsve been surreal.

SO FAR:
1. he doesn't have elite physical traits
2. he doesn't have a cannon arm
3. he seems to have elite processing ability and reads the field really well.
4. he has incredible poise. no panic. doesn't flinch
5 he moves well in and out of the pocket
6. good accuracy
7. good touch
8. high football iq and situational awareness
9. tough
10. looks like he is having and playing for fun..

Those are all the things that really matter at QB. 1 & 2 don't. Brady and Rodgers don't really have 1 & 2. Montana neither. But they had the others.
he's russell wilson and mac jones combined

wears shaun hills number

and looks like he could be sean payton's son.

Dan Marino & Kurt Warner's number
JaMarcus Russell had an elite arm.

Cam Newton can run.

Purdy has all the skills you really need at QB. All of them. He has a chance to be really good.
The guy next to Al Michaels was doing everything he could to downplay Purdy's performances. What a joke.
The kids poise truly stands out in spades. And it's rare.
