Ask the posters who are still trying to perpetuate the Brock vs. Trey debate.

Nice post. People need to pump the breaks with the emotional responses about Brock. Yeah, he had a chance to come through at the end of the game for us and didnt. I thought he played an A- game for 3+ quarters. Obviously everyone is going to focus on the last 2 possessions, but in no way did Brock lose the game for us IMO.

Everyone thinks they're objective. Get in line. Your arguments earlier in this thread were trash on occasion. We don't need to rehash it. I've said many times that when things don't go well for Purdy, this place will implode. Guess what? To me, there's no reason to back off Purdy being special. I've seen enough to know that he has traits that are elite and will not not improve in consistency as he plays more games. People tend to forget this is just a kid who's played less than a season worth of games. Pace yourselves.
They're trash comments because why?
What like you were being some "objective fan" and the rest of us aren't HA yeah okay dude.
You see one part of a post that isn't 100% calling Brock amazing and you get all emotional about it…never mind the rest of the post saying good things about him.
There's no reason to debate or have convos with people that act like that

Basically a young Drew Brees. He can process well, throw anywhere on the field, is decently mobile, but had not played in any late game pressure situations in the NFL until last week.
Needing a field goal, he's 1/1 on delivering a chance
Needing a touchdown, he's 0/2 if you count both drives.
I think the sky is the limit once he fully figures out NFL defenses and gets used to these situations. Last week was bad throws. This week he had a couple inaccurate throws and one really bad decision. Brock just needs to relax and put the mistakes behind him.
A guy like Allen can throw bombs but man he's probably just as infuriating to Buffalo fans because he has thrown a lot of picks that have cost them multiple games this year. 3 on opening day against the Jets, and a pick in three consecutive games thru this week.

If Brock Lead the Niners to A TD at the end of the game. We are talking about how Purdy Single handed won this gam. And how amazing he is. But instead he threw a bad pass that got Intercepted and now it is somehow all on him we lost and he is no good. Purdy has half the INTs of Mahomes but Purdy throws a couple of picks and he sucks all of a sudden. I get this was a bad time for it as it came after his poor performance against the Browns. But Purdy played extremely well for the vast majority of this game. Not to excuse the bad throw in the big moment but the rest of the team primarily the defense was the reason we were down at that point in the game not Purdy.

Yea, that's kind of how it works.

The ire of that loss is on the Ds pathetic performance.
That said Brock can't have that 1st pick. Learn and get better.

Yeah, if you're a hay seed that blows in whatever direction the weather vane points. Small mindedness.

I think that first pick was slightly inaccurate, but it wasnt as terrible of a throw as it seemed. Jennings got bumped off of his route, and he didnt get to where Brock thought he was going to be. It was an anticipation throw. Granted, I still think the pass would have been slightly ahead of Jennings even if he didnt get bumped off of his route. Brock took full responsibility for it, and said Jennings was exactly where he was supposed to be (being a great leader that he is and not making excuses).
Brock is still really young. Would I have preferred he come through last night at the end? Of course. But as long as he is learning, it is what it is.

I've seen nothing from Brock that proves he can't win a SB. People are overreacting.
That being said, he needs to bounce back quickly if we have any chance of getting a top seed.
I also worry that his arm strength after the surgery will get worse as the season goes on. Maybe it will get better? Any doctors want to chime in? lol

Pretty much agree (minus the Allen stuff). Would also point out he succeeded in a late game situation against the Raiders last year.
