I'm like.. is it a mature johnny manziel that panned out? Something about him reminds me of someone, I just cant think of who. Maybe he just kind of looks like Drew Lock with a helmet on lol

I think Drew Brees is a reasonable comparison, in terms of playstyle: Accurate, a little small, but elusive and able to move around the pocket well. Leader. Good decision-maker. Brees wasn't known for being a great deep ball thrower out of college (but he did mature to the point that he could make all the throws at an elite level).

Probably no one has better accuracy than Brees on short and intermediate throws.
He doesn´t have the legs of Lamar.
He doesn´t have the arm of Mahomes.
He doesn´t have the body type of Allen.

What he has is the brain of Peyton Manning and I take that above everything else any day of the week.
Nothing is too complicated or too fast for this kid. It´s like the game is running in slow motion for him.
I hadn´t seen a rookie QB playing like this in a long long time.

Perhaps a bit too classy. Tom Brady probably doesn't say nice things like this.

Brady is on another level. He divorced his wife and left his kids to play another season at age 45. Gotta admire his love for the game

Cause nothing says class like that lol

I think he is a lot like Romo without the boneheaded mistakes so far
Just heard on the radio (Dennis Brown and Lund post game I think) that he didn't practice until this morning, and even that they limit the number of throws along with the warm ups before the game. They also wanted to see how far he can go and Josh Johnson was ready to come in just in case. He looked a little off and I thought some of his throws was a bit lacking on its zip. Dude definitely battled and still put up good numbers. Now it made sense why Shany leaned on CMC as his QB is in pain and he made his game plan possibly thinking that Josh Johnson was possibly playing this game. But back to Brock, he's so poised and got some ice in his veins. Learning what's going on the last few days.... Very very impressive.

Romo had a career 65% completion rate so pretty similar, Romo just always had a knack for losing big games….and I loved it haha
Manning... brees... lmfao relax guys.

We're talking play styles here. Obviously he's got a long way to go before he can be mentioned in the same regard as legendary Hall of Fame QB's.
he reminds me of dak prescott

Why does this have to be explained? Lol
Trying not to get too excited…

Is there a chance he's only the next Gardner Minshew? Dude had an even better passer rating through his first three games than Purdy has (though he went 1-2 in those three games and I don't have the tape in front of me to confirm Minshew looked better).
