important to keep throwing and be confident. i think shanny took a lot of 2nd and longs out of purdys hands with time wasting handoffs that got stuffed.

maybe purdy was a little hurt coming into the game. hes gonna get picked but im praying shanny does NOT shut him down and keeps him on the front foot.

And it's not like he's played trash teams. All three of these games have been against teams fighting for the playoffs.

His deep ball isnt bad. Tom was never known for having a great deep ball and look how he turned out. Not saying Brock will be like Tom but he seems to have all the tools you need

He was good enough, again. Aside from that one Jimmy ball he threw to Diggs. I thought Shanahan was a lot more conservative with the playcalling today than he was the prior two games with Purdy. Most of the chunk passing plays were one read schematic throws. And of course had two 1st down receptions wiped out (holding on McCloud catch and the Aiyuk drop).

The 3rd down run getting the corner was something obviously Jimmy would not have been able to do.
