If playcalling speaks louder than words, then that was proof Kyle didn't clam up after the nullified INT. We've seen Kyle be happy with a lead and get conservative going into the half. That did not happen versus the Bucs.

Not just the playcalling, but Kyle making unrepped adjustments the night before the game says a lot about his confidence in Purdy.

I could see the similarities in terms of size and skill set. And honestly, when you look at Minshew's passing stats, I think some would wonder how he's not starting on some team -- until you look at the fumbles. Dude fumbled 18 times, losing 11 of them, in his first two years. But otherwise, his career stats are:
30 G, 63.2 completion %, 6003 yards, 41 TD, 12 INT, 93.9 QBR with 107 rushes for 516 yds with 1 TD.
