Minshew isn't a bad one at all. They were fairly similar QBs coming out of college.

Agreed. Not sure about coming out of college but his play the past 2 games reminds me of minshew
Interesting, on 95.7 Brock's offseason QB coach said that Brock's cognitive test scores were off the charts compared to other rookie QBs. Like elite level scores.

I could see the similarities in terms of size and skill set. And honestly, when you look at Minshew's passing stats, I think some would wonder how he's not starting on some team -- until you look at the fumbles. Dude fumbled 18 times, losing 11 of them, in his first two years. But otherwise, his career stats are:

30 G, 63.2 completion %, 6003 yards, 41 TD, 12 INT, 93.9 QBR with 107 rushes for 516 yds with 1 TD.

If playcalling speaks louder than words, then that was proof Kyle didn't clam up after the nullified INT. We've seen Kyle be happy with a lead and get conservative going into the half. That did not happen versus the Bucs.

Im lovin the chemistry with Aiyuk and how determined he is to feed him.

Could be Shanny just evolving as a playcaller. And Brock might just be seeing the field better than Jimmy. How many times have we seen Jimmy just flat out not see wide open dudes?

Right? Even 37 passes in his first start. And still passing after the INT? Who is this man? Love it!

The guy we told you was always there

Yeah, he just needed Mr. Irrelevant to show it.

I'm just happy his balls have dropped.

Not just the playcalling, but Kyle making unrepped adjustments the night before the game says a lot about his confidence in Purdy.

Right?

<checks back of jersey> "Um, Purdy...can you make this throw? Great. It's in."

Probably due to small hands

I love me some Minshew. And/or Heinicke. I think both would fair well in this offense.
