Joe Montana was playing better teams and like I mentioned before threw five touchdowns against the number 1 defense in football. Flaco could never even sniff that.

Yea I think the Ravens went through a tougher set of teams personally. 13-3 Broncos in Denver, the Pats in NE, and then us.

That 89 Broncos defense might have been the top statistical defense by scoring, but no way they were actually the top defense. The game was a foregone conclusion (maybe not the outrageous score though).

Growing old is a privilege denied to many.

Tre is Pat's son not grandson.

Thats where the dynamic movement skills really shine. Bet quite a few were off script.

I think his excellent ability, so far in the redzone, really exemplifies his accuracy, anticipation, mobility, and confidence. Most quarterbacks really struggle in the redzone because they don't have that combination in spades, hopefully Brock can keep it up during the season.

when Brock is out there on the field, I feel so confident that the team is going to move the ball. It's an awesome feeling. I always felt like we could move the ball with jimmy but it always felt like a chore. Lol like it wasn't easy.

With jimmy (and I really like jimmy) - it felt like we had to out scheme the opponents to beat them through the air. With Brock it feels like we are just better than them and can move the ball however we want.

The local paper said something like "bend but don't break meets unstoppable"

I think SI had the absolute best quote tho....a reporter wrote something along the lines of " i got the answer straight from the horses mouth..." I kept that issue for years....i probably still have it...ultimate shade....

Exactly what I told the Trey Lance crowd or rather the Brock small sample people, he is elite in the redzone. Possibly could be the best qb in the nfl or at least among them. Last year he was excellent and I expect that to continue

He's done an excellent job during camp and has got a ton of red zone drill reps. I expect us to be quite potent down there, top 5 in the NFL when it comes to scoring touchdowns (not FGs). I was a little bummed we didn't do that against the broncos on the first drive but that busted protection, that generated a sack, really hurt our chances.

Yup it would of been anyway if we had CMC or Williams or Kittle. Easy. Purdy has been doing this against the best D in the NFL too so
