Actually, I think the main reason was because I would stream the games, and the forum would be ahead of me.... can't have spoilers.

I got Sunday Ticket this year so I'll probably be in there.

I like to read other team's gamethreads after painful losses, lol. Definitely not productive, but I have time to burn and I'm sadistic.

It's even better to read other teams gamethreads after they suffered a painful loss at our hands

We Have to start fast on offense this year because our first three games are pretty tough. First two weeks are away games (lots of traveling - although ones in LA, not bad) but it's followed up by a short week, Thursday night game.

- travel across the country to play the Steelers
- Travel to LA to play a division rival
- First home game on a short week against a playoff team

need to start fast if we don't want another crappy record the first 6-7 games

we also play in thanksgiving (in seattle), Christmas (Ravens), & New Year's Eve (Washington). pretty brutal schedule this year.

My concern as well.

Feels like that past few years the first 4 games were clunky - even the wins.
Here's a question. I just saw a pic of Derek Carr and apparently he jacked up a little this year. So I always wonder, if arm strength is so sought after and the reason why guys like Lance get higher considerations than, say the Brock Purdy's of the world, then why aren't the Purdy's of the world (guys who are smart, accurate, etc but lack ideal arm strength) also bulking up to improve their arm strength? Unless you tell me that it has nothing to do with it, but just seems like it would have SOME effect.

I don't think bulking up, especially the arms like Carr has done helps at all. It must be more related to the ligaments or something. If anything, I think it may hurt it as it could mess with the flexibility and motion.

I don't think I have ever seen a correlation with a pitcher with a great fast ball or QB with a rocket arm have a jacked up arm.

I'm really not sure, I think strengthening certain portions of the body (like Purdy did before his rookie year) and aspects of the arm/throwing motion can improve it but bulking up too much overall can actually mess with your throwing motion and mechanics.

i remember harbaugh said something like about kap. You want them to bulk up to be able to take Hits better but not too much to mess their passing ability. Im not a pro though

Nice thing is 3 games then a mini bye week

Then the Cardinals, which will probably be the worst team in the league this year (unfortunately, they're aiming for Williams). Then it's the cowboys at home. That'll be a massive game. Hopefully we are healthy and rolling.

I really do feel good about how our offense will look in the early part. I'm just a little concerned about our defense. Just because it's a new coach, play callin, and more blitz. Just hope it doesn't get us burned a few times early while they're adjusting to wilks.

lets get it Purdy! Try and break this record 😍🤘💦

Pass rush was so bad

The passes were such a thing of beauty. The zip the touch the accuracy. Then there's the pocket movement.

I'm banging my head having to watch Lance and darnold.

Yeah but Joe Montana… sheesh, such a strong tackler.

Brock actually talked about how his QB coach before the draft had him focus LESS on muscle size and strength, and get back to being more fluid, which helped his arm strength.
