Some good company. It's nice to see the stats match the eye test

When you look at jimmy on there and now Brock - it's very telling of an element we didn't have before

Not too bad company with the pressure to sack ratio, and on the upper right quadrant, he's with Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes. Like I said a few times before, he's got some elite, Mahomes-like traits in that 12 yard window.

Thanks! This is about as good of a situation as we could of hoped for, in regards to the team & competition.

now let's hope no one gets injured and Trey & Brock chops it up!

i really want to have two studs and not two question marks anymore. Hahah

Hey props for keeping the faith. Peeps gotta remember he's cleared to practice (sort of) he's not cleared to play in actually games. I'm assuming if all goes to plan he should be good to go by WK1

Hahaha they're going to have him in a pink jersey - DO NOT TOUCH. Hahah

im Still worried about injury. We aren't out of the woods yet. They really need to manage this properly. I doubt we will see any intense plays from him early on.

Why wouldn't he be able to have that surgery if a couple of years older?

Agreed about the pitch count, IF there is any chance of a setback. Hell even just to be safe. And he and the other QB's all need to work on getting better at flopping when they feel themselves getting hit. Jimmy, Trey, and Brock have all sustained bad injuries. We can't have that continue.

Because they don't even do internal brace surgeries once you're a certain age. They do straight up TJ surgery regardless of how bad the tear is.

I'm sure they will take it slow with Brock. For sure zero contact until WK1. Sucks because this should have been his off season of improving as a QB being "the dude" instead it's recovery.

That said imo we're in a good spot at QB. If Sam's your QB3 that's pretty sweet.

Not even close to out of the woods. It's all positive stuff as of right now though.

It's all about maintaining it though.

NY is right, Brock is fortunate that if this injury is going to happen - it happens to him while young.

the other factor into all of this is that his tendon has minimal wear and tear on it, that really helped his recovery. When guys like delhkmme and Big Ben had these injured - they had like 15 years of NFL damage at that point.

brock was able to get the ideal surgery and so far, has had an ideal healing process.

BROCKS CLEARED WITHOUT Restriction!!! I called this s**t months ago! God damn!

he will be first team 😎. But won't do everyday, will be on pitch count

Lance splitting with darnold

I really, really hope this isn't a mistake. Really do not want this kid to be re-injured. He played so well last year.

Sorry I'm a natural pessimist.

Bruh... you reserve this kind of comment when you thought a player would be good and everyone else doubted him, not for situations where people were pessimistic about an injury. LOL I KNEW HE HAD BETTER THAN AVERAGE HEALING POWERS, PRAISE ME!!!! lol come on man.
Awesome news he's seemingly ahead of his timeline. Looking forward to seeing what happens and having a healthy start to the season.
The reason why I thought he would be participating in camp on a limited basis is:

at this point in the recovery, which he's ahead of schedule - he's probably 80-90% full recovered strength wise - so a majority of his power is there. So the workouts he would be doing throwing wise, aren't much different than running a normal play.

so instead of just throwing to a wide open guy in shorts - which is only good if you're working on mechanics/motion, now he's will get the same rehab reps, but in simulated games. He can fine tune his reads/progressions/reading defenses/feeling pressure etc. it's the same stuff but with more added benefit. So by the time he is 100% (few weeks from now) - he will be much sharper and fine tuned. The offense will be in better sync.

It isn't like he will be throwing bombs every play right now or taking hits, so it makes complete sense to me. He's been throwing nfl regulation balls since end of May. What he will be doing in practice, he's been working up to for two months.
Also, yesterday I posted that Aiyuk said the staff told him Brock was ready to go. He said that yesterday in Richard Sherman's podcast. Hahaha which made me really excited for today to see if it would be for real.

im so effin amped!!! Let's go! Let's hope we have a really nice and crisp camp for all our guys! No injuries!
How many Preseason games do you think he will play in if any at all?
So he's officially good to go for TC?

Okay! Dirty Purdy getting a clutch rep already?! Lol I'm actually surprised how some of these people are ranking Purdy. I expected more like what madden did. Lol

So glad Urban Myer is out of Jacksonville!!! I thought Lawrence was gonna be a bust!!! And I know I'm not the only one who thought that. Myer gone!!! Problem solved!!!

I'm liking what I see from Kenny Pickett, Pittsburgh may have found their Big Ben replacement. Lucky f**ks!! I was hoping Pittsburgh was gonna be crap for the next 5 seasons.

Also liking Justin Fields, they're finally giving him some support. I wouldn't be shocked if they took second place in the North. I think the Lions take first this year though.

And as for Purdy please don't turn out to be another Jimmy G and stay healthy man. Please don't be Jimmy prone!!!

I knew Lawrence was going to be a stud because I've followed him since his senior year in high school. I even bet that he would beat Alabama in that first chip and won a lot of money in the office cause everyone thought I was nuts.

i don't really think Pickett is going to be anything special. He may take a big jump but I thought he was very underwhelming last year. I hope he sucks week 1 hahaha

we will find out shortly how Brock's arm is looking! I can't wait!!! A lot of reports saying he will be practicing sooner than later, like I've said many times - I expect he will be limited but participating. I have been right about his entire process so far (mainly lucky and just optimistic) hahaha let's keep it going!

Agree with everything tankle, love your post bro!!!!
