I just stick with the hoodies and shirts now lol

I told my wife if she ever plan on buying me a jersey it needs to be personalized or nothing at all

Yup, that's the way to go about it

Nah, personalized a jersey is the worst! I could understand it if I was a fan of a team that didnt have any stars or legends. But with us being Niner fans, you gotta get an actual player.

BINGO. Personalized is still better than "12th man" but I don't like either.

My favorite jersey till this day is Julian Peterson with the actual stitched numbers. He wasn't an all time great but he reminds me of the era I started watching.

BTW Tankle, how rude of your GF to not buy me a Purdy jersey. It was my birthday this year as well.

To each their own. I also don't like wearing any other # but 3. So it's a win-win for me. But to each their own. What's awesome is my daughter is going in to her Senior season and has wore #3 in every sport all the way up to this point.
Count me in the group that thinks wearing any jersey is pretty lame. Reminds me of HS football player's girlfriend wearing the jersey at the game on Friday night. You're grown men FFS!

Framed on the wall in the man cave, hopefully with an autograph, or nothing.

Is Purdy going to be 100% by preseason?

Hahahah I'll make sure I give her an earful about it, absolutely unacceptable.

I have jerseys, they've always been gifts cause everyone knows I'm a big fan, but I never wear them. I like to get them signed or something and hung up.

my dad instilled in me at a young age that once your 15+, you don't wear another grown man's name on your back.

with that said, I don't judge or care if others do - to each their own. It's cool to support the team. I just like to frame them and hang 'em up.
Below are the NFLPA's top 10 rising veteran stars for 2023.
  1. Brock Purdy, QB – San Francisco 49ers
  2. Garrett Wilson, WR – New York Jets
  3. Tony Pollard, RB – Dallas Cowboys
  4. Breece Hall, RB - New York Jets
  5. George Pickens, WR – Pittsburgh Steelers
  6. Chris Olave, WR – New Orleans Saints
  7. Patrick Surtain II, CB – Denver Broncos
  8. Miles Sanders, RB – Carolina Panthers
  9. DJ Moore, WR – Chicago Bears
  10. Jordan Love, QB – Green Bay Packers

that's our boy 😭🤘

Ahh hahah but that's just how I was raised. Lol I still love my jerseys though. I just like them more as decorations rather than attire.

I'm not surprised at all. Purdy throws touchdowns and wins games.

Hmm I think he's already there? Or should be there shortly. This is what I read:

"Once the 49ers' offseason program ends in a month, after a mid-June minicamp, Purdy will continue his rehabilitation in Jacksonville, Florida, with the private quarterback coaches he used a year ago, before he reported to camp looking to "scratch and claw" to make the 49ers. He'll have that same mindset this year, not to make the team but to make the team a Super Bowl contender."

It's all good. My number is 55. I think part of me is kind of jealous that I don't have a cool last name, mines very common and boring TBH.

Except for irrational luck purposes, like when I didn't post in the game day thread and we went on a huge win streak every time. Of course we all knew it was nonsense and there was no correlation, but it did save me the overemotional toxicity of being in the game day thread until after the game.

But I'm just saying, even though I don't believe in magic or "luck" other than statistical inevitability, if I'm wearing a jersey and the 49ers go on a streak with me wearing it, I'm gonna put it on just for habit and emotional comfort.
