Last time he posted news in here that had nothing to do with Brock, he claimed it was because the story was a top article on the webzone and Brock's name was in one of the sentences.

I wonder what his excuse is this time lol maybe he can just admit he's a troll this time around

Not sure how this relates to Brock Purdy in anyway other than "oh maybe they don't trust Purdy will be back".

That's not the most spectacular thing about that play, IMHO. Half the QBs in the league can make that throw. Kirk Cousins and Jimmy G have done a bunch of those. It's definitely the scrambling and keeping the eyes down field that made the Purdy incomplete play great to me.

And we've seen that from Lance as well

Jimmy didn't make that play, Kirk didn't make that play and Lance didn't make that play.

Claiming they could is meaningless.

Technically, Brock didn't make the play either. It was an incomplete pass.

But Brock did make the play, it was Aiyuk who technically didn't.

The funny thing is nobody should be ALL IN on Brock. Predicting he's going to the HOF after 8 games is impossible. It's much easier to be able to tell a kid just doesn't have it (Trey) than it is to project a HOF career

Well since Kyle is trying to trade for Jackson, that means he's not happy with Purdy as his starting QB. /s

This. All you can ask is for the player to do is his job. Only players like Brock and Mahomes can make the crowd go crazy on a dropped pass. They are fun to watch

Trey Lance either then if you put it like that. And Lance would be the first to go with the salary he carries with him. At least Brock would still be on the team.

This. It's about getting good QBs on the roster and bad ones off

I agree. It's horrible logic to use a random report to pretend you know Kyle's opinion of these players.

Charlie does it constantly… hence my sarcastic post.

source is Raven Country, John Lynch on Lamar Jackson / confidence in Brock:

"You look into everything, and we seem to be linked to everything," Lynch replied. "I can tell you, I think it's how convicted we are on Brock, on this current group of guys. You're not doing your job if you don't look into things. A lot of those things I think you're limited by the way our roster is set up and the other thing is, what's your motivation?

"And there's more than just Lamar, there's tremendous players, MVP type players. We really like our guys and we like where we're at. We like our complete roster and how they fit for multiple reasons and we're excited about that group. So, I'll just leave it at that."

It's no wonder the 49ers are gun-shy about pulling off a trade for another quarterback. They invested heavily in a guy they may no longer believe in, Trey Lance. They gave up three first-round picks and a third-rounder to get Lance to San Francisco, and it appears it may all be for naught.

Last year's "Mr. Irrelevant," Brock Purdy appears to have all the confidence of the club and is the presumed starter when his elbow heals.

So much for being a voice of reason. Fan those flames, bro.

To be fair, Lamar would be exactly the type of player Kyle was saying he wanted 11-11, I don't think it's realistic because of the salary cap. I wouldn't want Lamar though, he's awesome but no thanks.

regarding the smoke/fire thing, I think there are a ton of things this off season regarding moving Lance that makes me think they've looked into seriously moving him and would do it.
- saying Brock is QB1 so early in the off season, way before we know how he heals
- bringing in darnold with those incentives and saying Lance has to compete with him
- I personally don't think it's a coincidence that darnolds cap his is the exact amount we would save on a post June 1 trade of lance
- the non committal language to Lance that he's used. He's essentially said "we like Lance.. but" in my interpretation. Especially when they've been so adamant regarding other players when it comes to moving them (Aiyuk/Bosa).
- the reports from rap

Just things like that. It's obviously just my opinion, idk what they're actually doing or mean to be doing, that's just how I interpret it. I could be wrong but I feel like that's a lot of hints on how they feel and where they're leaning.
i think at worst they're trying to gauge lances market value to see if it's worth trading him vs keeping him as a backup/insurance policy.

, this indicates to me that they don't plan on developing him anymore in live games unless they have to.
