Yeah our D really didnt stop them all game, the Interception in the endzone and missed field goal helped but they were moving the ball all game

The hit on Deebo was clean. The 2 helmet to helmet no calls on your boys in the 4th, 3 delay of game no calls, and the never ending no calls on Bosa were absurd. Congrats man, all you can do is route for your team, but the refs won it for you.

Exactly. Niners are the better team but the lopsided ref calls were the difference plain and simple.

Yes the niners could of overcome those calls but then again why should they always have to? The Rams wouldn't of won and the Rams would of lost by multiple scores if the game was called evenly.

Look at the Rams 1st year with Stafford Superbowl appearance. Brady with Tampa SB Championship. It's simple math

I agree. By the time Lance is ready, if that happens, our team might be depleted of the talent. Guys like aiyuk, juice, Mitchell, Keys, greenlaw, Bosa, Arik....who knows where they will be in a couple years. If we had Rogers today, we are in the SB.

Rodgers or Brady would of lead this time to the Superbowl easily. Like I said we have too much talent not to try N repeat the success we had this year. This team will be almost intact heading in the next 2 years. We all know the windows of opportunities close quick in the NFL we have the roster to take anyone from the NFC or AFC with a solid QB. If it will take too much draft capital then let's just hope Brady ask Tampa to release him I'm sure in a heartbeat he'd be knocking on Kyle & John's door. He also wanted to be here 2 years ago. It's never too late If he decides to come back next Season.

I'd be down to rent Brady for a desperation run.

Look at the QBs in the playoffs: NFC had Brady, Prescott, Stafford, Rodgers, Murray, Hurts, and JG. AFC had Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, Tannehill, Ben, Carr, and Jones.
On the bright side, we were only team with a really crappy QB to win a game.

This a misconception. It was bend but dont break. They moved the ball at will.

JG has his hand in it but the D was not as good as vs GB.

Exactly. The D was useless all night. They couldn't get off the field to save their lives.

The defense not great, but definitely not useless. At the end, they only conceded 20 points, neither great nor bad.

A game like this… 3 point loss… You can point fingers all over the place. The defense wasn't useless, neither was the offense. But no unit on either side of the ball was blameless either.

We just couldn't find a way to close out in the fourth quarter. Our oline couldn't handle the Rams pass rush and Jimmy couldn't make any key third down conversions in the fourth quarter. On defense, they couldn't get off the field all game long. In the end, the Rams won TOP and had the ball 35 minutes.

I disagree. That is just a diplomatic way of listing what went wrong tonight. Let me ask you this, what is the strength of this 9ers team? Defense right? Our offense might have been great back in 2019, that was the only time when the Offense could carry the D if things weren't going well for them. This year? Not so much. The D was our only hope in tight situations. Like in the last game when we were down 17, the D was able to get us the ball back and Stafford was getting sacked, hit and pressured all night. 5 sacks and 13 QB hits. We had nothing tonight. So, when the D couldn't get off the field, the idea we might have to rely on the Offense immediately tells me this was going to be a steep uphill climb for us all night. And true enough we lost. Of course the Rams won TOP. Why? Like I said, it is because they couldn't get off the field all night.

Of course. The Rams came prepared to play and they wanted it more than the 9ers did. Unlike week 18, the O-line was getting owned all night.

This loss is on the whole team, particularly the coaching staff. Say what you want. McVay had a different and better strategy to take down our running game by playing more physical, and wore our defense down. The game was won at the line of scrimmage. They ran better and pass protected better. Shanahan and Ryans came in this game with nothing new or creative.

It came down to he trenches. They won on both sides and are going to the SB for it. Couple questionable flags on he way don't hurt.

And failure to adjust in the second half. Our run game was shut down and Kyle insisted in running it up the middle for zero yards

Painful loss. Yeah I didn't expect to get this far but honestly these types of losses hurt the worst because they're winnable games. I'd rather get blown out. At least then I know "ok they are clearly just a better team." These losses suck because we could and should have easily beaten them. Inconsistency at QB and a suspect secondary really cost us.

Don't disagree, but when you have zero threat to push the ball downfield, makes stopping the run easier.

The 9ers actually got lucky with the "ward Int" there should have been a flag thrown on warner for helmet to helmet.
