SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS at LOS ANGELES RAMS - 2021 Season NFC Championship Game

I was just listening to some guys on the radio talking about the overtime rules. They suggested doing the coin toss prior to the game. By doing that any team scoring at the end of regulation would know in advance if they would be getting the ball or not. That could make a difference on whether to kick the extra point or go for 2 since the team that gets the ball has a very good chance of winning.

I like that but I would take it one step further and take the coin toss out of the picture. Make it so the visiting team gets the ball first. That might even out the advantage that the home team already has. In either instance knowing ahead of time who would get the ball might eliminate OT altogether if more teams went for 2. We would see them win or lose in regulation. In the end it's a little more fair and the league and players get what they want. Fewer OT games and minutes played.

For what it's worth, Von Miller essentially guaranteed a victory to Diana Russini…

Just more fuel for the fire

Didn't they say they were "gonna put us in a body bag" in week 18?

I believe Kittle said that, it was gonna be a body bag game.

Hmm you might be right thought he repeated that in jest. Nonetheless if Kittle said that they let us in the playoffs time to finish the proficiency and put them in a body bag and crush that franchise

You don't think the NFL doesn't want to drive their attendance up in the largest city in the state of California.

The Chargers aren't going to do that.

Troll job?

Team sources tell NBC Sports Worcester that #49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo has suffered a setback with his injured thumb. Trey Lance is likely to start, though Garoppolo hasn't been ruled out yet. #nfl #playoffs #breakingnews
