SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS at LOS ANGELES RAMS - 2021 Season NFC Championship Game

And at this point, what does "better roster" mean. It's only us and the Rams left in the NFC. "Better roster" is completely gauged by this specific match up. 49ers have the edge.

It's not true. Starting with QB. Not that we can't and won't win.

The pressure is all on them.

I think we can do this. Our defense is simply awesome but this time we can't get way behind as I don't think a second half miracle happens this time.

Run with them in points scored and slay them in the 4th quarter.

Nothing to be embarrassed of no matter the outcome. The pressure is all on McVay. Wonder Boy won't be a wonder boy if he loses. They have a roster that can't get much better. They got the QB they wanted. It's all on the Rams. 9ers can play chill and win the game.

We have a better front 7 on D. Better oline. Better TE group, better running back group, talent wise its close to a push. If our defense hadnt started slow with a new DC this year we easily have another couple wins.

I don't think Rams have the better roster. They bought big name starters, but their depth is average. For the niners, while we have a couple big name starters, our depth is better. I mean we're able to rotate our DL with fresh guys and don't skip a beat. Seattle had that during their reign.
We're in the position we want to be, hot at the right time of year. If you have a D that stops the run and gets after the QB the opposing offense has no time to function.

Yeah I don't get this better roster for the Rams mentality. What position group are they better at than quarterback and secondary?

Many people view the Rams as having a better roster. I think that's based on the fact that they have bigger names scattered around the roster and have made some big moves to get them. Overall, I think the Niners might very well have a better roster. On the D line, they have 2 big names to our one. The rest of the front 7 is heavily in favor of the Niners. OBJ and Kupp are big names but Deebo is more productive than OBJ. Kittle is way better than their TE.

They have Stafford, OBJ and Kupp on offense. Ramsey, Donald and Miller on defense. All big names but their other players aren't that great.

That is definitely the key today, get after Stafford so he doesn't have time to look downfield.

Last week was special teams on queue when we needed them. Today hope it's the secondary's turn to have a Cinderella day.

Still embarrassing if we lose. We'll never the hear the end of it from the rams fans.

The pressure is on the Rams! They bought the most expensive players and sold their draft capital to get here. The Niners didn't.
I wonder what their salary cap is projected next year?

Here's your answer right here. I'm not afraid of Rams smack talk we've dominated them and took over their stadium with an injury riddled made from scratch team while the rams duct taped theirs together with aging players they are under enormous pressure because more than likely 2-3 years from now they will start falling apart because they don't have the draft capital to replace those old players and be in cap hell. Let them talk tough odds are we will be the ones laughing in the long run

I agree. They need the LA market to thrive. They are not getting it done right now with the Rams and the Chargers both in LA. One of these teams needs to take the reigns and the Rams have a better shot at this right now, unless the niners can say anything about it.

Also agree and I do hope they do say something about it. Rams can kiss 🍑

If it's a close game the refs are gonna help out the rams. We need to put this game away by the 3rd
When do we get the report on who is inactive?

I'm not one to blame the refs unless it blatant but I get that same sense NeKro. I can see the refs calling a couple tricky tacky penalties in key situations to gear the game in the direction the NFL wants. This world is all about money no matter how much you have and the NFL has been trying to get LA for YEARS
