It was a rough day emotionally and physically for the Rams secondary.

awww too bad so sad. They'll get tested big time with Kyle Murray running around doing his thing.

If he is healthy that D gets a boost

There have been a couple of posters that have gone mia since Sunday who were straight up dogging Shanahan for weeks.

I mean.....are you surprised? Are you going to be surprised if Kyle has a bad game and they return? That's kind of how all of this works lol.

you cant convince me Shanahan isnt a top 5 coach in the nfl

anyone want to fire him is ridiculous he would get hired as soon as he got out of the building

This.

People have no idea how NOT green the grass is on the other side.

who the heck is #43? He's not even on the team's roster on the team website. But here he is covering Cooper Kupp on 3rd down. Kupp is the #2 running a Corner route.
https://www.49ers.com/team/players-roster/

Darquez Dennard, he played 21 snaps. I remember seeing him during the game and being confused as to who he was. It's not ideal that he's covering Kupp and Dontae Johnson is the deep safety. Some interesting lineups.

Also, Aikman twice called one of our players Marcus Robinson during the broadcast, but I have no idea who that is. Maybe he said A'Shawn Robinson, a player for the Rams that he confused for one of our players.

Good ol double D.

As for Marcus Robinson and Aikman, someone probably opened a window in the broadcast booth and a slight breeze gave him a concussion.

aikman said some weird s**t

he said ramsey put a big hit on deebo when in fact it was ramsey who got knocked down, deebo was standing

he also said that 5 yard pass odell dropped would have been talked about for ten years if he caught it…

just bizarre
I remember thinking the exact thing on those two plays. Ramsey ran in to a brick wall but stopped the play. Odell almost made a non highlight worthy 1 hand catch.

It's almost like Aikman doesn't like the Niners. Weird. The feeling is mutual.

Aikman was clearly alluding to an acrobatic catch and not that it would have been a big play. Still an overreaction though

Actually I think Aikman is a Niner homer. At least I think he has a deep rooted respect for some of the old school teams eg Niners, Cowboys, Packers because he acknowledges the history and rivalry that exists between them.

I felt he was rooting hard for the Niners vs LA. He kept alluding to how the Niners had a chance to come back. He also gave Jimmy a lot of credit as the game wore on. It's Joe Buck that laps up the scrotums of his boys eg Stafford, Rodgers etc. Aikman is quite objective IMO…

Yeah I never understood the desire to fire a guy who took a team from trash to super bowl in a few years.

Some fans expect near absolute infallibility, even if they say they don't. Shanahan makes bad play calls sometimes, and shoot, earlier this year he had some crazy bad challenges. But there's a difference between having an off day and being a bad coach. Those were anomalies for him.

One thing I hope he sticks with is going for points at the half, even with a lead. He did it against Houston, but has played it safe more than I'd like in other games.

Overall, Shanahan is a great coach and I want him to stay a long time.

Eric Weddle came out of retirement and signed with them. 37 years old, wonder what kind of shape he's in…

... and we would be relegated back to the crap heap for untold years.

Also wouldn't surprise me if they blowout the Cardinals. Arizona stumbled their way into the playoffs.

Surprised? No. Can I blame them? Yes. Yes I can. But perhaps they are new fans who came on board around 2011 and I should cut them some slack.

So you're justifying this?

No one should say crap if they were not here during the Nolan years.

You think Nolan was bad?
