He makes some great throws. They were throws in this game where im like as a defense there is nothing more you can do it was just a good play
Stafford is a good QB, McVay has a tendency to fold in the clutch.
All these dudes from the same coaching family, McVay, Shanahan and the Taylor in Cincy get ultra conservative and seemingly terrified of going for the kill shot.
Bengals got conservative and opted to run the ball late in the game, instead of letting Burrows keep bombing on a 49ers defense that seemingly couldn't stop their passing game. McVay did the same thing today. Both resulted in losses. We've seen Shanahan do it when up in games. The only one that seems to not fall into the same trap as much is LaFleur in Green Bay. Then again, he also has the luxury of Aaron Rodgers.
