The positive thing is that Vegas knows how games are gonna go for the most part. They just do. For it to be only -3.5 bodes well for us. They could have easily made it -9.5 or something and they would have suckered a lot of people into it. If you just look at the optics of the game...niners never win at home...Rams offense is explosive....niners D is horrendous....Rams just came off embarrassing loss and need this W to stay at the top of the race...Niners fanbase is divided and possibly the team is too. So this should be a blowout win for the Rams right? Maybe, but it doesn't always turn out that way.

I agree, but Kyle is still looking to get a high pick for Jimmy, so he might leave him in there, the rest of the season.

Getting a high pick for Jimmy on his current contract was always a long shot.

This. Also, the big appeal with Jimmy was that he wins, him not doing that and continuing to add L's would do more harm than good if we still think we can get something for him.

Funny how when a team starts losing the QB loses too.

This the 49ers 3rd national spotlight game. We coughed up the lead to the Packers and stunk it up against the Colts. After tonight they have 2 more night games. One at Tennessee and one in Seattle. Neither of those will be easy so they have to win tonight or risk going 0-5 on national spotlight games.

This will be pi$$-poor management of talent. This idea to release Lance onto the world ONLY when he's totally "ready" is just bad logic. If Shanny in fact does this then Shanny does have a major player development problem. I could see if our O-line was just terrible. Don't wanna put a rookie behind a terrible O-Line. But we're not coming back from a 3 - 6 record. No way in hades will this team have any chance of making the PO should we lose tonight. Our O-line is decent. There's more than enough talent around Lance to aid his development.

If it's true that Shanny won't start Lance this season, regardless of the record, to basically justify the 2nd round pick we gave up to get Jimmy (to say nothing of the 3 1sts given up to get Lance), it's just plain inexcusable. Shanny is going to have to be a complete HC, not just a brilliant OC. There's more to coaching an NFL team than his scheme.

I remember last week when Greenlaw was close to playing they said he would most likely be active this week. Has anyone seen any updates on him? I wonder if he will be playing.....And of course Von Miller will most likely be playing. Figures, against our back up tackle
