If we move on, who do we get?

I hate threads like this because along with legit grievances, up comes potato level stuff like this.

Football is a capped sport, there is no "going into the luxury tax." The Yorks spending or not spending money has absolutely f**k all to do with the team's current issues. They gave Shanahan and Lynch well paid contracts, let them hire whatever staff they wanted and have stepped back and let them run the team as they see fit. When even Kawakami isn't blaming the Yorks, you know you've dun goofed.

I doubt that Kyle or Lynch get fired when they both got extensions. Kyle is signed through 2025 and Lynch through 2024. That's a lot of money to eat if they get canned after this season. Jed would really need to have a strong replacement if he made a move like that.

Silly Question. These guys have at least 2 years

Yup and we are all wondering if this is good or bad.
Demeco is trash.

21 to the Bears.
31 to the Cardinals.

How tf are you going to win games like that?

Daboll - many of the fans here said the same thing about KS, that he can put in any player on offense and make him look good..

you either have IT or you don't..

I've said it before.... and I'll post it again... and again..

the HC choice should ONLY be between the two....

Cris Petersen
PJ Fleck

... Then hire the Vikings or Miami's HC as our DC because both are good DC but not a HC. ..

this is an EZ fix... allow KS to go USC and learn how to be a HC there... may be some day he'll be a good one in the NFL..

You talking the PJ fleck that lost to Illinois 14-6 this past weekend? A guy that can't win the big games and is a big "ra ra" guy. Yeah no thanks, sounds like a train wreck waiting to happen.
This thread somewhat proves that we should stick with Shanahan for at least Lance's second year.....all these so-called candidates get a solid F+ from me.

He's a first time DC running a unit which has taken the most hits via injury.

DL is basically a one/two man unit with Bosa and Armstead. Linebackers not looking great which is ironic since that was his unit. I wonder if Fred has too much on his plate this year.

Secondary is a hot mess and clearly we need Jimmie Ward back there since at worst he is a great tackler that could've helped minimize the damage yesterday.

Saleh wasn't exactly lighting the world on fire his first two years but in hindsight I wish Kyle would've brought in a legit DC with HC experience. McVay and Kingsbury have both benefited greatly having those guys to fall back on. Kyle has too much on his plate IMO.

They bought at least the 2022 & 2023 seasons with Trey. unfortunately i think its going to more of the same unless Trey is who we all hope he can be (top 5 QB)
Jimmy inst doing anything to make us lose the games imo. So coaching, and play calling needs to open up. thats just my thought,

Funny its gone from everyone hating Harbaugh and the game has passed him by, to he is his magical savoir and we need him back.

Pete Carroll?

Honestly, that was going to be my answer too. I don't know how much longer he'll be around in Seattle. Things have gotten stale there. Pete is old though.

I don't think Jed and his moms billions have a problem paying former head coaches...

I think they've only bought 2022. If Trey can't get this team into the playoffs they will probably clean house again.
Let's get Steve Belichick and hope his Dad comes with.
