Right?!? Norman not only f**ked up and potentially Put a win out reach but then he made you look stupid and proved you have no control over the team. Then you go out and double down and act like you didnt fully agree with benching him in the second half 🤣.

You think harbaugh (either of them), bill b, or even tomlin are allowing that behavior from a nobody???

This is, again, one of those situations where the less Kyle says, the better. With Kyle publicly saying he didn't want to sit Norman, it reflects poorly on those who decided to bench Norman. It further erodes their authority. If you disagree with your coaches, so be it. But handle that s**t in private.

Agreed. Keep this s**t in house

Now he has cracked ribs? How we didn't address the cb position in FA and after Verrett went down is unbelievable. Late 3rd and a 5th round pick isn't addressing the problem
I'll say this, at least the dude is tough. Can't say that about most of the rest of the roster
"Fractured ribs"
Oh no, we might actually have to play some of the guys we drafted.

How in the world did that happen? I never saw him any where near a receiver except when he blew a valve cussing ........

We're signing guys off the street instead of just playing the guys we drafted.

Unless they realize they blew those picks too.

Hopefully he can give us some solid snaps and some timely turnovers. Seems to have a knack for punching the ball out.

I was hoping for this from him hopefully it continues.

This man deserves some apologies. No doubt he lost a step, had boneheaded penalties and deserves criticism. But any player that can come in and impact our defense with what we always seem to lack in turnovers, let alone lead the damn NFL in forced fumbles from the freaking CB position is a welcome addition in my opinion. Shoot it's not like we got much better to choose from on our roster after Moseley anyways. Keep ballin Norman

Norman is a reminder to our DC, that we should be doing a drill every practice, just like Vince Lombardi used to do with the Packers. Every D practice , 15 minutes was spent trying to punch or strip the ball from all the RBs. 15 mins, every day….imagine that. Welp, GB had a ton of forced fumbles. Don't know if we practice it ever, but is great method for teaching ball carriers how to protect the ball and most important, teaches DBs, DL, LBs how to get the ball loose and on the ground.Lombardi's teams always led the league in forced and recovered fumbles, resulting in 1 or more extra O series every game for scores.

This is exactly what Demeco should be doing, and Norman can be his instructor …but stripping is also an art form that can be learned. The punch is equally effective and a bit easier…one just has to be thinking of it when going for the tackle.

For a team w/ as few TOs as we have, this really should be a daily exercise.

A benefit of zone defense is being able to gang tackle. Every 49er defender should be doing what Norman does and trying to force a fumble when they converge on the ball carrier. Props to Norman for bringing this part of the game to the defense.

Ok Thl…should we write a joint email to Demeco or do you think he reads NT? Nah, probably need to email him.
He's basically turned into our Richard Sherman. He's a liability in pass coverage when left alone and can be annoying but he forces turnovers and has become a leader on defense
